It will sell well at first, but staying power is with the software. I just don't see the want in this device. Life time sales might be 10,000,000 units like the eyetoy, but that is also being very generous.

That was the part where you go into the theater and kill the swarm of Chimera right?

In sales, 360 fanbot heaven, or game variety, where the 360 sucks at and where 360 fanboys always avoid.

Yeah it's popular because of the head start, but that's it. It's same games as last gen with the added gears. Honestly it would a better investment to own a PS3/PC.

The thing is the only games that really sell are Gears and Halo. Other games just can't cut it on the 360.

Cultural phenomenon would go to the Wii hands down. The popularity of 360 in America really is based on a couple of games, whereas the Wii, and PS2 are based on many games...

Cultural Phenomenon, lol? What do you mean by that?

5644d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

Yeah and you see how their Move tennis game turned out

5645d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

This wouldn't be that big of an issue if the 360 had more console exclusive games.

It's leads to piracy, it's a person's choice. We know as humans there are people who make stupid decisions with products tended to be used for good.

yes that's awesome!! =)

5646d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

But really what 1st party exclusives, there is a very low amount

5646d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I want to edit this but what 1st party games can Kinect work on? Halo, or how about any Rare game. Do you see my point? Let's talk about Nintendo, Mario, Zelda, Metroid works great with the Wii mote. What about Sony? Ok, Killzone 3, Socom 4, MAG, Infamous 2, Heroes on the Move. Again do you see my point?

Being weak with the 1st party lineup and also adding a tech that is limited to begin with doesn't help either. With many 1st party game you can use different...

Some people forget to have staying power consoles need to have a strong lineup of 1st party games as with any new add on, having a foundation of adaptable 1st party lineup. MS dosen't and never did have this.

Sony and Nintendo always had this and the games are there. I won't list the games because there are too many.

Why Sony?

TINY DIZZY!!!!!!!!

5648d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

No, the "better" competition the better, you know one that actually brings out new IP's

5648d ago 9 agree0 disagreeView comment

It's not cutting out a 3rd competitor it's replacing an incompetent one. I Sega won't do it, but they have my vote to enter the console market and give us new IP's like they did with the Dreamcast and their other consoles.

I have been saying this all the time, of MS's actual agenda for their gaming division. Anyway, I wouldn't mind Sega coming back to the console business. They actually brought many new IP's to the gaming scene.

It's a whip something that is a foundation to Castlevania.

5649d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

That's the thing, this year there were articles on investors wanting to shut down the xbox game division. MS needed a way to sway consumers into buying an xbox not only for the games but other things as well. The 360 is mainly know for two games gears and halo a shooter console, it's sort of a typecasting thing. While the PS has always been known as a variety console, and built on that with additions of blu-ray, Move and a bunch of other offerings especially games.
