Who in the world said that MGS:R will suck? Will it be as great as MGS4 is the thing to be seen. I will definitely pick up the PS3 version for this and am pretty sure everyone who played MGS4 will pick this one as well, but a stealth based MGS is what a true MGS is about. Hence it's a spin off and not being developed by Kojima and team means people are skeptical. Just name one MGS title not made by Kojima that has been appreciated? Even MGS2 remake on xbox was a crap port not made by Kojima. ...

I kind of agree with Bordello. MW2 looked good, but not a great leap from MW1. GOW3 was probably the second best looking game showcased at E3 after UC2. And that too the game isn't in native 1080P yet. I am pretty sure after 9 months of polish, this game will blow anything.
I feel that GS are trying to act as diplomats here. Giving one win to each so they don't seem biased.

M$ won in the hardware department and Sony won in the Software department. Disagree, but Sony did show more games and better exclusives. It just didn't have the Omph factor that M$ had (Speilberg and Beetles).

Uncharted 2 looks pretty sick. Now-a-Days all PS3 games seem to have cut scenes made from the engine... I even feel Killzone 2 had engine build cut scenes.

I agree with Darkeyes. The game does have a new combat system. Though it may not entirely be an overhaul, it works for me. I mean GOW1 got it spot on, so it's hard to trump it.
And Snaz358. Dude nearly every sequel out there copies the combat system of it's predecessors. At least PS3 games are getting a major graphical overhaul compared to the 360 games like Halo and Gears 2..

I never complain about IGN or Gamespot... I usually refer to their reviews for buying games. As far as my knowledge goes, the reviews are unbiased and give a good picture of what the game deserves. At least for the past 1 1/2 year, I am yet to see a PS3 exclusive get crap biased reviews from them (MGS4-10 Resistance 2- 9, LBP-9.5 KZ2-9.5, Infamous 9.2.... Haze got what it deserved...). I read the reviews, bought the games and am happy with each of them.

Yup Master Chief, Halo is like Mario for M$. Even toilet paper with Halo name will sell millions. Hell the game wasn't even HD, 640P LMFAO. The game scored 94 on Meta at a time when not a single decent FPs with multi-player was released. KZ2 came out with a crap prequel against the likes of COD4 and Halo 3 and still managed 91 (after all those crap biased Edge reviews).
Bring out Halo now and without the Halo name attached to it and then see how much it score. And Masterchief, K...
