MGS defined what it really is with MGS1 on PS1 ..previously was just a stereotypic 2D isometric game with less shooting in it it was like it born that exact time and Kojima himself has repeated it numerous times.........
also Resident Evil was literally imo the most impactfull game of the era ...as it not only invented surrvival horror but invented crucial 3D mechanics which helped all 3D games (especially prerendered backgrounds with polygonal chars) of that era JRPGs ,...

when your games suck (Remedy) ..exclusivity is not the problem ....either if they go multi or stay excusive, their games are unapealing and boring
i dont think game s possesion/interactivity works the same as movies...most gamers want to own the game as it is a far more memorable, interactive , immersive and potential repeatable experience than movie watching...with games hte need of ownership is far stronger than the 2.30 hours long movies where nowdays cant take 2nds with most of them ....giving the "Netflix of old classical games" would nt have at all the same impact as movie Netflix imo
i want to see DMC 4 Dante come back with its movements and character untouched and uncut ....also Nero was bad asss chracter and i wouldnt mind to see him back.....secondly MAKE a BIGGER game this time Capcom ...DMC 4 felt so little in comaprison to Dante s Huge movement set (and personality).

while it wasnt expected ,PS4 (PS4+PS4pro) dominated for 3 consecutive s weeks Switch in Japan, with Switch to have even drawn its "ARMS " to fight , couldnt outpace PS4 in hardware sales ...as for software there obviously Switch had the upper hand with no big hit tittles on PS4 this period (for Japanese tastes ).....i wan tot see what will happen when the Dragon Quest PS4 version will hit the ground ...
^^ ok i think you got it all wrong (i would probably think the same thing if i was seeing the comment though )....i dont mean Aliens like Independance Day or Xenomorphs ...i mean aliens that would be similar to Bloodborne s bosses (the old ones) for example , which are just god like beings from another worlds or dimensions.....that kind of concept wouldnt ruin the medieval art designatmosphere of Zelda
i disagee in all of them...these guys had gold in their hands and instead of givingus back diamonds or platina (or whatever is superior to gold) they gave a cheapy ...sloppy made remake , they gave us copper...
they had given for free so much potential, that could have literally destro out of the water any contemporary platformer (including all the overhyped recent Marios ) ...none of the aforementioned 7 things would be needed if the remake was stellar in the first plac...
Next Zelda needs aliens ....so many games now figthing over and over the same (not very inspired) Ganondorf has ended to be very bland....bring some extraterrestrial lifeforms that would threat Hyrule....and when i mean aliens i dont mean offcourse Sci Fi-content ..but could easily retain the medieval theme and aliens could at the same technological level as the rest of world in order to keep the atmosphere and feeling
the game has alot of quality looks superb...i mnot very close fan (i ve seen some movies ) ..but the game imo play exelantly , is like copy paste of the anime

i agree with Wooly ...Kratos was one of the most uninspired obscene and obnxious heroes in games ...while i mainly play on PS consoles never liked any GoW game

these guys suffer from Uninspiration ....all their games are bland and generic ...Lord of the Falled ,Sniper Ghost warrior all copy stereotypes of previously good games...if they dont step up their art team and change the motive of the ultra macho -(but completley childish made) charcters , i can bet they wont have any success in the fututre
@fleece exactly...... ...Zelda offers the same sht 25 years now, Crash had 4 stellar games that couldnt repeated by no developper ....compare Zelda OofT -Zelda TwP-Zelda Skyward -Zelda Botw (Zleda on Snes is the same just form 2d aspect)...all good games but the same luke warm thing over over and over --...
Parasite Eve 2 for me .....the game is a hugely underated gem and the true spiritual successor of the og RE1 (as the RE writer and inspirator worked as Parasite Eve 2 director) ..
