MW2 better than CoD4? Lolno. I've never understood the amount of praise MW2 got, considering it was easily one of the most broken and poorly-balanced shooters in the history of EVER.
Not really new, they did work on MW3 and I'm pretty sure they also contributed to Ghosts as well. Both of which were terrible games.
How about the Korean War instead? Something that hasn't really been done that often at all.
But still, I have no faith in the newer titles except for Treyarch. We'll see how it all turns out.
I lmao'd at the 358/2 Days one. I remember when I was around my Kingdom Hearts-loving friends, I'd always make fun of the ridiculously insane names Squeenix would come up with. "So, did you beat Kingdom Hearts Three-Hundred Fifty-Eight Divided By Two yet?"
Never had any FUCKING IDEA it was actually pronounced "Three Five Eight Over Two". I just don't even
Call of Duty: Gunfighting Men
Only if done right. Don't just have it there for the sake of it, like ME3... In that game a lot of the connections I had in previous games seemed shallow in comparison.
And please, no more of these robotic, terribly-animated sex scenes. *Has flashback of Shepard and Traynor having sex in the shower, still wearing their underwear for no reason*
Can we actually get this game in the States on the PS3 this time, Koei, or will you guys just be scumbags again?
The current Infinity Ward is a joke, just look at Ghosts. Easily the worst CoD yet. Go look at a video of Grant Collier (one of the original founders of Infinity Ward) for CoD4, that version of IW is dead.
MW3 was abysmal, and definitely a snoozefest as you correctly labeled it. I played it on both PS3 and PC and it was terrible on both.
Treyarch at least *attempts* to get it right, even though Blops 2 had a ton of issues with netcode and weapon balance. Th...
Thank you! WaW was the last good CoD game. Everything after that has been mediocre at best. I liked Blops 1's campaign and the multiplayer was fun with friends, but even that had a ton of issues.
This move still means we'll get a new game every year, and I doubt they will do much with the extra year of dev time they have besides sitting there drinking Mt. Dew and shoving Doritos down their throats.
Well Carmack was always just the engine tech guy, he wasn't behind gameplay design or anything. The only impact he had on gameplay was designing the engine that powered it (pretty much single-handedly at that) and helping with coding the games.
idTech 5 wasn't the technical powerhouse people expected it to be, but then again the only game that I know that even used it was RAGE, and Doom 4, which we haven't even truly seen yet. So to me, it makes sense that he'...
Trying to trek half-way across Raccoon City with hardly any health items left, a handful of handgun rounds and one ink ribbon left, constantly worrying whether or not Nemesis would do a backflip out of nowhere and start firing rockets at you...
Never forget.
Konami better go get some Aloe because they just got BURNED!
Agreed totally. Just because someone has done something great in the past doesn't absolve them of present-day scumbaggery.
I wonder how long it'll be before we have nano-transactions :x
Talk about an apologist... I don't see how anyone can try to defend this nonsense and expect to be taken seriously.
Not even gonna bother with this until MGSV: Supreme Ultimate Philosopher's Legacy Edition comes out which has all the "games" and DLC in it. This is just beyond ridiculous.
I feel you, but these companies never give out precise benches. It's always buried under PR-speek. Intel and Nvidia do the same thing.
Just wait for your usual favorite tech sites to get a hold of it once DICE finally releases the patch, then you'll know how potent it really is.
Yeah, I never got the hype behind the Steam Boxes. Anyone who knows how to build a rig could easily build their own ITX/m-ITX rig and then stream games to that box just like Steambox does. It's really nothing special and I doubt it will take off in a massive manner. I'll just stick with my main PC, thanks.
Would definitely not mind a DiRT 4.
What a ridiculous article. Kaz has much more to worry about than Iwata, and even then Kaz is still doing a much better job than Iwata. That probably explains why people don't "want his head."
