More appropriate question would be – is it coming out at all?
As much as I would like to believe, that ps3 ir a reliable hardware, experience tells me otherwise. I had 60GB, got YLOD after 2.5 yrs, purchases a slim (fine for now); my friend had 60GB, got YLOD after 2.5 yrs, purchased a slim(fine for now); my other friend’s 60GB is still running strong (for now). So that’s 2/3 60GB got YLOD in my personal experience.

Going by your word, it seems that gamestop is actually discouraging used games sales, if they are seling them just few bucks shy of new copies. I only buy used if the difference is atleast some 15$, otherwise I see no point and I imagine that most do the same. Why would you want to buy a used game to save measly 5$?

Another PC Elitist and not a gamer. I have a 2k $$$ i7-950 PC and a PS3. For all the super duper PC graphics, guess what games I play on my PC - CS 1.6, TF2 and Starcraft 2, thats it. Guess how many games I have for my ps3 - about 25.

I would just like to point out, that EU has a mandatory 2 year warranty law, not 90 day's or 1 yr, and I'm quite certain, that 360's 3yr warranty really works only in US and maybe UK.

I'm sorry, but I have to call BS on that, I mean consoles and PC's have co-existed since since almost the begining of gaming. It's not the consoles that are to blame for dumbing down games, just look at FFXIII, but it's the result of gaming becoming too big i.e. extremely commercialized. You should blame EA, Activision among others for dumbed down games, cause they are the ones responsible for wanting to adhere with every possible demographic by making every game easily access...

Agreed, I really don’t understand the Raiden hate. Yes, it was a bit of a shock to play as Raiden instead of Snake, especially since in the Tanker mission you played as him. But other than that, I really enjoyed MGS2, superb game in my book and not to mention that in MGS4 he was made in to a effin bada$$ cyborg ninja.
