Of the upoming 3, the most in the dark. What will the PS4 be like? I hope we find out soon.
Don't play stupid, you know what I mean. A new console generation isn't simply an "upgrade," to old tech. My point is, I spend $400-ish bucks once 5-6(maybe longer given how long the cycles become) years and everyone is on the same level. I would rather drop $400 once than have to upgrade every 2-3 years for the best product. There is a reason the best for a console comes at the end, the developers squeeze everything out of it as opposed to simply moving along. I have to re...
"Yeah but the 360 is gaining a stranglehold on the casual market with Kinect which can only grow, so unless Sony comes up with something radically appealing to the causal audience, they may remain in third place next gen."
Won't that be a lose-lose for the hardcore(oh how I hate that term) though?
Maybe its just me, but I don't feel that I should update for a single game. People talk about not needing to update, but if you really want the best your going to have to. There is an "elite" PC range. I don't like the concpet that "to look the best I have to spend the most." I love consoles because my PS3 and 360 look like everyone elses PS3 and 360.
Not for everything.
Not for me. I would rather have a 55" LED and a joystick. Just can't rock a mouse and keyboard. Not my thing, sorry.
God forbid something be linear
Me - What happens if I watch?
Konami - You will be sucked.
Me - Well then...
What?
Would it have killed you to go ahead and give the game a 5? 4.7 is such an odd score. Hell, 4.9 is less akward. But 4.7....
Yeah, shame.
That features support, doesnt say it is a Kinect game. I mean hell, First person combat alone isn't terrible. I play my Elder Scrolls in first person.
My best friend and I went bat-shit crazy when Cole actaully stepped over a body. Never seen so much care put in the smallest detail, the animation was great and the fact that, unlike most games, I didn't step on or through. Wow. Just wow.....
It depends if you looking for a game or an experience. L.A. Noire is not something you just play for "fun" like GTA.
"There are times when you are sitting there watching the performance of the actors on-screen and forget all about that controller in your hand."
Guy makes it sound like this is a bad thing.
But something that is memorable isn't always engrossing.
I have yet to have one since 4 impress me.
Engrossing amd memorable aren't exactly the same thing.
Don't really agree with your first 2, but yes, KOTOR 3 AND Jade Empire 2 would be divine!!!
XBLA or retail?
