Absolutely a blast when you play with mates. And the visuals are very sharp. Just another 1080p with LBP graphics. Achieving gold and plastic on many challenges is a bit tedious though.

It's a good thing that GT5 will be launched later rather than earlier. There will be a much bigger install base and maybe the price of the PS3 will be dropped in time for release in order to enhance the "system seller" factor.
ATM, the PS3 just isn't affordable for people to just drop in a shop and grab it quick without thinking through. GT5 could be...let me rephrase, WILL BE the biggest launch and success for PS3. Sony will have a price drop by then.

This person is reviewing Infamous for what it is, not for it being a PS3 exclusive, but as a game in its own right.

Really really good particle effects, smoke from bullet impact, decent but standard lighting and 60fps gave it the realism it needed.
IW took a much different approach than other devs and concentrated on those factors instead of textures and pixels. I hardly noticed the sun HD resolution since it is anti-aliased.
They probably thought to themselves, "what ACTUALLY makes a game look real?" The answer would probably be not too technical.

I would most unlikely buy this for my pc. I only played LP1 demos of both 360 and PS3's so I don't no how crap the full game was. A lot of 360 fans said LP1 was rubbish when it got announced for PS3. So I didn't bother with either versions.

It really stunned the flow in COD5.
Halo 1 on PC was my 1st online game. I loved it, both SP and MP. I became so intrigued by the halo 3 hype, I ended up buying 360 just for Halo3. I later got Halo 2 xbox version (didn't want no Vista back then).
I did enjoy Halo 3 MP thanks to it's generous splitscreen offering another 3 guest players. I still have my 360.
We need more games like that. So far, only Warhawk has it for PS3 and maybe Haze.
