When they at least start pretending like they respect gamers. I want the old MS back, the xbox 1, hardcore gamer focused company that cared about GAMES.

Exactly, don't see any other consoles pumping quality like The Last Of Us or Beyond Two Souls at the END of a generation. I see More powerful hardware, cheaper, better devs, more gamer focused and i think...how is that not appealing to 100% of gamers. Why is anyone even acknowledging anything else.
Disagree all you like, what it boils down to at the end of the day is sitting down and playing games, and no one provides better games than Sony and their first party devs.

There are other household appliances that already do the things that consoles are calling "innovative" and "revolutionary" and have done for many years. Call me old school but i just want to play games, that's all.

I do own a 360, and a ps3, so what? I call people xbots for blindly disagreeing with me about choice. I don't care for kinect, if its not a replacement for the controller THEN MAKE IT OPTIONAL. Don't look at my post history, that's creepy.
And why shouldn't they? This mentality of giving allegiance to one single company is pathetic. If you like the look of something, buy it, regardless of who the company is that made it.
Kinect will NEVER be able to make games as smooth and as playable as playing with a controller. The kinect games for 360 were HORRIBLE pre designated paths with minimal user input. I expect more of the same with Kinect "2.0". Only thing its good for is family fun games that get boring after an hour. Its a unnecessary gimmick.
And talking of gimmicks, anyone remember the Xbox Smartglass? LOL.

It comes down to choice, we should CHOOSE if we want something, not have it forced. If it spies on us or not is a different matter. People like me who simply do not want it in the box for whatever reason (for me its i have no interest in playing games without a controller) should be able to choose. Now im going to probably miss out on alot of exclusive games from MS that i would have really enjoyed otherwise.
So glad they listened to feedback, less sensitive sticks and longer grips are the 2 biggest problems i had with the DS3.
Ill buy it on the 360 until its available on the PS4. Still not comfortable with the Xbox One kinect or the price.
Are you serious?! Xbox live is one of the biggest rip offs ive ever had the displeasure of paying for, you get nothing in return for your purchase apart from the "privilege" of downloading demos and playing online.
I don't understand how any semi intelligent person could see the Xbox as more appealing than the PS4, from a GAMING point of view anyway. I don't want apps or gimmicks or pointless features, i want games, and Sony exclusives are the best gaming experiences ive ever had, no amount of family fun kinect or TV could change that.

Yeah dont worry about it, i got one too, even though i chose day one delivery at checkout. As long you have done that (or the US equivalent of pre ordering the day one edition) then you will be fine.
