Nobody wants another rrod situation.. And granted my ps3 hasn't had any issues yet, but it throws out a ton of heat.. I wouldn't want to leave it on for years at a time.. Using tablet components will generate much less heat but I'll go for overkill.. Lol

To be fair.. You get all that with gold too.. Except the free games on both systems is unknown..
Sure you get a gimped driveclub with PS+. But you get KI with gold.. Anything else is up in the air and giving away current games you need to sell isn't sustainable
PS+ gave you older games that have already sold what they could.. Offering it up for free doesn't hurt sales but increases fan base..

I prefer Xbox but that doesn't mean I don't like PlayStation.. I've owned every one of them and ps4 will likely be no different.. But that at least gives me some perspective to talk about both..

It doesn't matter.. Its $5 a month or less.. I've had my gold account for like 7-8 years now.. Its a non issue as anyone even half interested in gaming will have it. Just as ps4 gamers will pay for PS+
