took me 26 hrs on solid snake. I am playing on the boss mode and its freaking good (hard but good experience) where it pays for sneaking. No way, you can do run and gun on that mode. Without cutscene, it will take me about another 26 hrs for sure on the boss mode.
PS3 players have track record that they buy game slowly and steady base than jumping on lunch day unlike 360. So, I am guessing MGS4 will sell over 3 million this year alone and over 4.5 million on its lifetime. We shall see high numbers for entire month before it slows down. PS3 is still very expensive with price tag 499 for 80 gb. It will fly off once price hits 299. I don't think you have played game otherwise you would appreciate that 2 or 3 minutes install time in between game after getting stressed with boss battle and other. I really enjoyed installed time otherwise, i would have big headache getting so immersed and not taking break 'coz when you play this game, you don't just play with fingers you use your brain alot.

What a game !!! Don't compare this game with any other game if you are true gamer. It is outstanding. Story is killer, made me cry.

Moment i inserted disk, MGS4 starts. talk about loading stuff, lol you don't even feel loading. It is made such a way, in fact i quit the game and started again to see loading screen, haha. I don't care reviewer's rating. Its all pathetic, bias story. For me and all mgs fan this game is 20/10. For others it is still 10/10.

I was never good on resistance online. I will still love this game for single player, co-op.

Wii is not replacing ps3 or 360. Wii is addition instead of substitution. Major portion of Wii owners eventually buy ps3 or 360.
360 = no future.
So, i truely believe, PS3 will sell over 100 mil. It might actually pass ps2 userbase.
BlueRay and wide selection of games = PS3 = future proof.
