I just thought if you want to double the enjoyment of gaming, you need to stay out of media. Just go to game shop and buy a game judging from cover. That's what i did on ps2 time and i really enjoyed ps2 games. Now i check for previews, reviews, videos and then decide to buy game. Certainly, i am getting higher quality game on cost of half enjoyment.

Gaming has changed. It is not going to stay same forever. Of course, nothing compares with Games you grew up with. I know how you feel 'coz i am on same boat. As much as i try to enjoy these new games, i still think those old games got me excited way more than todays graphically enhanced games.
trophy whore ?? certainly not me. In fact, i don't even care that much online game. I like to take my time and expand my game experience on single player or co-op. I enjoy games like uncharted, mgs, rachet and clank, ff series. And I haven't logged into mgs online at all despite having game on first day. I did enjoy cod4 online though.
Not that i don't like gears but sell don't reflect quality. Otherwise, you need to quit playing gears and play nintendo dog.

this game looks horrible unless there are many fun factor, too human is not gonna get my money. I was actually thinking to get this game and gears 2 and expand my library from 2 to 4 even i don't like 360.
I beat this game on the boss mode with no kill, no alert in 4 hrs and 50 mins. Of course, i just did that for bigboss face camo but its no fun to do it. I had over 100 loading 'coz they kept seeing me and other crap. But i got what i want. Now i can play again with my precious items (100% camo) :D
i ma still waiting for e3 05 game. Killzone anyone !!! LOL. I want that game so bad. Feb can't come sooner.
Dude, you are surely mistaken. I been member of this site for over 2 month and visitor over a year. I own both 360 and PS3. 360 gave me RROD enough time to not like it but that doesn't mean i don't like 360 game. I love Gears and few others. PS3 was definately good investment as i am using it over year and half without any problem. And for the last time, I am not bubble hungry. As long as i can post couple of comment about gaming, i am happy.

mgs4 can be 4 and half hour game if you don't like mgs style game. But it can be over 30 hours game too without cutscence. This is mgs we are talking about not run and shoot. You gotta play mgs4 with real snake style "sneak and attack without even enemies realize it. By the way, please play on the boss mode before you talk about AI. If you are looking for gun down everything, then this game is not for you. on easy mode, you can complete game in 4 and half hours and kill everything that c...
I am sure that you have not played the game yet. But if you do get chance to play, try the boss mode then you will know if AI comes and stop or kick you on butt. You prob. saw videos of beginner mode and assume AI is easy. The boss mode where the mgs4 fun is. AI will make you cry and gives you perfect challenge.
God of War is the best. Nothing compares to it when it comes to hack and slash.
Original Half life was one of the best game. I still have 4 digit steam ID which means i am one of the orinial player. HL 2 was great but it didn't make difference of what hl 1 did. I am sure this one is good too but had enough of half life. Killzone2 is the game i am looking forward to on fps.

Played on solid mode, played on big boss mode and just beat the game on the boss mode. Wow, what a difference. Pure awesome and thrill and you have play stealth all the way. Simply impossible to run and gun. Now, i am gonna play to acquire all the hidden and special stuff.
