Because they still made money off of FF13-2. It cost a lot less to make than 13 and it sold 2.4 million copies which is good. Not much games get close to that. Granted they didn't sell as much they thought they would but they still made profit off of it.
Thats not being lazy. Every developer does this. believe it or not they even grab assets from different games they made. Uncharted 2 reused assests from 1 and Uncharted 3 used 2 and 1. Which Naughty Dog is the only developer that made a comment about it in the game. when you cross a latter Drake says "Look this was last years model".
Because believe it or not its not all about what you want. There is plenty of people that would like a sequal like me. I loved FF13 and 13-2. And I think its funny how people are suprised there is a 3rd one coming out when ff13-2 ended with to be continued.
Your comments are funny. You mention nintendo games having innovation which the games you mention have nothing really innovated about it except doing some cool things with galaxy.

Without Nintendo yes we probly wouldn't have video games now. But without nintendo screwing over Sony we would never have the video games we get now. Playstation brought adult games to a hole new level that Nintendo would of never done. And still don't.

I don't understand why you need more info. You got a 6 min video that shows gameplay and very basic story. All I care about its still indevelopment. Its like you want the hole plot what the game is about. Mystrey is good. I bet you will enjoy the game much more.
Square-enix says this is Lightnings last game. Not FF13. So i will laugh to see ff fans reaction when they come out with ff13-4 continuing other charaters story^^.

Exactly. I'm getting tired of people posting like its fact no one wants this game. There blinded by there hate that they don't realize there is ALOT of people that want this game and loved final fantasy 13. If you don't want it then don't buy it. I'll enjoy Lightning Returns and also enjoy VS13 when it comes out. More games to play better for me.

I think its funny how everyone says they don't want a ff13 game. Yes it didn't sell close to what FF13 but it sold around 2.5 million copies. Most companies would be happy to get that much sales. Its actually rare to have most games get that much sales. So you cut that in half again for 13-3 thats 1.25 million copies still sold which still makes them profit. I don't know about you but thats a lot of people that want it.
