I don't necessarily agree with Userthree But he has a point if Kazunori Yamauchi had read jamesrocks3147's comment he would probably have asked Sony to announce anotheR delay for GT5, since we know Yamauchi strives on Racing sim perfection. But another not everyone wants their cars to be destroyed so they have to improvise and make the damage the best they can.
*clap* *clap* I feel that this game deserves each and every single last award even after it has won over 150 awards 32(now 33) of them being Game of the Year. This is a testament of how far a game can go as long as the Publishers and developers believe in it, keep in mind this game only had 18 months to be completed before it was shipped out, once again congratulations Sony and Naughty Dog, I'm glad I've played the game.

Yeah I agree it was all about the timing; no matter how you look at it SSM had this planned and actually it was done before in GOW 1 when you were on Kronos. GoWIII has level movement on a greater scale and I think people over looked that fact, no one has done a moving level/boss battle like SSM.

Well when some people pre-order their games they get it early I know quite a few people who've gotten games early, they ordered online. If this was 3 months ago I'd agree with you.
It's not about the score it's what is said regarding the score. If they gave the 5/5 that wouldn't mean it's perfect, they could still say "the game isn't perfect but it's a foot forward". The real problem lies in their reasoning for giving it a lower score, it's still based on opinion at the end of the day, they felt that Kratos was too much of a Anti-hero in this one but I might disagree.

It sort of grinds my gears as well when people say a game like GOW (which was a bit ahead of the hack n slash genre) isn't innovative it doesn't need anymore innovation there is a level of things you expect to stay familiar when you play this game in particular mechanics were always there they are heavy and kind of hulking. Omega4 obviously wasn't paying attention if you bothered to watch the GDC stream you would have heard them say that they have 20 exclusive titles lined up for PSMOVE(SOCOM4 was included), they also stated that they're saving things for E3, this was technically the tip of the iceberg.
I'm all in for bringing new gamers into the world of gaming, but I don't want Sony to pull a Nintendo, which I doubt they will. More Than likely when people who don't usually look at games and they see the name and the commercial they'll find simple but Catchy, the name aims for the casuals and beginners but everyone else that knows about games, they'll know about everything else(the more hardcore games)
