@Harryvok
If the difficulty is part of the design, like guns are in GTA, then yes, it is the same thing. You want the game to not be what it is. Adding an easy mode to a From game, as they exist today, is 100% the same.
The fact that you're saying we get joy out of people not being able to beat the game is patently false and shows that you don't have the first clue what you're talking about. The From Software community is very helpful and encouraging. ...
It sucks that your friend has nerve damage. It’s good he can play Fallen Order.
It doesn’t matter if an easy mode would affect people who like the tougher challenge, it’s literally the same game if it’s “easier.” If someone wants From to add difficulty modes then they don’t want to play a From game. That’s like wanting GTA without guns. What they want isn’t GTA.
Yay! Another article signalling the end of gaming consoles? This is what? The third time in history this "end" has been predicted and yet consoles seem to get more and more popular? The difference between the PS2 and now is that there are more options instead of one dominant one and a few smaller ones picking up the rest of the audience.
But sure, THIS time it's for reals.
Thanks! Actually besides Legend of Kage, which I admit in the article is mostly a nostalgia pick, all of the games I listed are either solid or great. Thanks for reading, though.
It's definitely not just a port, which I mention in the article.
Thanks for reading!
Nothing except the fact that they upped the Player count to 6 and implemented the password system from Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne. Which I mentioned in the article you clearly didn't read before you commented.
So, thanks.
It's games like this that make me glad I own both.
Literally started a new playthrough the other day. This time on Xbox One. I have the platinum already. May as well go for that 1000 GS.
Horizon may not be a huge leap but it offered something fresh with the robots and the story is great. It's also very polished. I'm not expecting ELEX to match that level of polish or storytelling but based on what I saw for this preview, it is one of my most anticipated games.
Based on what I saw at the show, I think it could very well be. I'm just concerned about its scheduled November release window.
SquareEnix had a booth on the floor.
Also, not sure what you're referring to in regard to the article I wrote but I appreciate you reading and commenting.
Thanks for reading and commenting! I'm not talking about the crowds. Yes, they sucked, but I'm talking about the games I saw there Vs the public opinion from those not in attendance who only watched the press conferences.
That's going to be subjective. I paid $40 and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Others might not feel the same.
That's about where I am with it. I hope they have a chance to add more to the game.
I'm not a journalist. I'm simply a guy who critiques and comments on games and their surrounding culture.
With the exception the the bird dude, whose name I forget, the enemies you fight are all variations of the same ones you've encountered by halfway through the game. The only thing that changes is their elemental damage, if that.
I appreciate the comments but I have to ask, did anyone read the article? Because I would curious as to what people think about my complaints?
Not from where I'm sitting. That said, did you read the article? Is there anything I said that you disagree with?
Clever.
You're arguing with a wall if they think it's about lording beating a game over others that can't.
