I find it funny that you actually went back and edited this post. Did you forget to type a few of those letters in all caps?
Phantom implies a ghostly appearance or being out of plain sight.. so, no, that's not what I am. I am in my mid-20s so forgive me if I don't find entertainment in some kid making terribly unfunny jokes while simultaneously trying to deepen his voice so people don't realize he's 14 years old.
Also, you meant you're, not "your."
I have to assume everyone who thinks this video is funny is under the age of 16. That was awful.
I have no interest in any of those games except GOW3 as a rental
I don't think they will mind if they don't top Reach sales.. as long as they're generating substantial revenue from future Halo titles.
Yeah, I know, I just typed it wrong. Doesn't change my opinion, though. Halo:Reach isn't top anything. It's a solid game, nothing amazing.
I wonder if there are any Wii fanboys.. dahhh
I like Halo Reach but top game of this generation? That's a bit of a stretch.
How can someone disagree with me? All of this was made known at the Sept 1 multiplayer reveal. It's a fact, not an opinion.
Combat, Haha then they will start releasing DLC for old games to try to get ya!
I know n4g.com is only a small sample of the gaming community but MOH isn't even in the top 10 hottest topics and it's coming out next month! I don't see an EA takeover happening any time soon.
That being said, I will be buying both MOH and Black Ops.
Well said
What are people going to do when Kotick implements these revenue generating channels and they work so well that other companies follow Activision's model? From what I read on these boards, most n4g.com readers would stop buying video games altogether.
I am not going to like paying the fees but most likely, I will pay them. Video games are relatively cheap entertainment (assuming you're an adult). I can drop 60 dollars in a night at the bar or on a football ticket whil...
As long as people will pay, which they will, they will charge.
this is old, old news.. how is this "declassified" and "new information"?
I'm surprised they let Major Nelson report this after all that "Who needs Blu Ray?" business.
I think it may be due to the fact that people are playing the Halo Reach campaign instead of the multiplayer. I know when I got WaW and MW2, I immediately played multiplayer but when I got Reach, I went straight for the campaign.
I'm not a programmer so if anyone can let me know.. is it really that hard to offer the option of choosing what action you want for each button?
I prefer COD controls to Halo controls (I'm sure I'll get lots of hate comments for that) so switching back and forth is a little annoying. Same thing with playing games like MAG on PS3. I haaaaaate using L1 and R1 for ADS and firing.
i would absolutely pay a subscription fee IF there were monthly maps, faster patch responses and new game modes on a semi regular basis.
with MW2, the first map pack was actually pre-loaded on the disc and then we got one more half-assed map pack. 2 map packs in 10 months? terrible.
seriously, if you're a hot chick and play video games, you have a job
Just curious, I read somewhere on here yesterday that console gamers can no longer say a couch is better than a desk because you can now use HD TV/Monitors and wireless controllers. I assume most people on PC only use keyboard and mouse for FPS titles since you're at a disadvantage if you're using a regular controller.
So, if you're a wireless controller person, do you sit on a couch with a tv tray for your controls or something? I've never been a PC gamer so ...
