mass effect has a great story line, yes. but the fact that half alot of the time it behaves like an unpolished, near completed game should be put into consideration. it drops frames frequently and on occation struggles to load model textures in time. Bioware shouldnt be rewarded with game of the year for releasing an game with these kinds of issues... if it didnt have these i would say for sure game of the year. otherwise i think mario or call of duty should get it, maybe bioshock......but no...
Zeppelin likes to consider themselfs as timeless and probably dont want to be involved in something that is probably a fad. It may not be the most modest oppinion of themselfs but when guitar hero's popularity fades away to a past fad, people will still listen to great music like Led Zeppelin.

I dont think people should freak out if he doesnt want his music on a video game for kids. I also think its fine if an artist wants to put their songs on a game for some of their fans to enjoy. I'm a musician, not a terrific one but I've played a gig or two here and there. Ive also played guitar hero 2 a few times and its a nifty game. How ever I think its getting pretty silly with the kids on you-tube acting like they are rock stars because they can play dragon force 5 stars on expert, or espicially the "classified" section on Harmonix website (its just kind of pathetic).

The cell, at just over 4.0 GHtz would be able to handle any of the CPU operations that crysis would demand at full settings. But thats not the problem, the RXS graphics chip doesnt have enough memory nor does it run fast enough for crysis full settings. what ever though, they can still code it to look great on either consoles!

yeah god of war 2 is a fun game, i am stuck at one part of it though... in this corridor with those zombie minators and the walls are closing in to crush me. is that in numerical order in quality? or is it just here is 10 games that are the best this year? if its quality then hell yess orange box should be number 2, and im sure mario deserves the one spot and YES halo 3 should be in the 8s 9s or 10s, pretty good game its self.

fable was actually a good game, but it promised that every single action in the game changed the game completely and that definately wasnt the case. i was disappointed but because i had high expectations after the developer basically lied. KOTOR was probably the best game on the xbox, other than the first Halo.
As a PS3 owner, I would like to appologize for BestGamerAlive's comment. what a tool. Crimson Skies was a great game. Halo one would be a great one to replay too, but dont most people who have an xbox 360 have the first halo from their original xbox library? i mean i DONT have a 360 and i have the first Halo....
I mean for a media storage, Blu ray holds quite abit more.... and when burners become more affordable, doesnt anyone care about being able to burn information on the medium with the highest storage space? hmm maybe not.... i dont care about the HD movie aspect of this debate, they do both look the same, and the advantage that blu ray has over audio is slight even if you have the $800+ receivers for it. i have a ps3 if blu ray wins, and if HD DVD wins, their players are pretty cheap....but wha...

I mean Mass Effect drops more frames than an inmate during shower hour but it still got over an 9.0 average and is still considered by many the best game for the 360 and game of the year. plus i doubt orange box will have the lovely glich of not being able to move for no reason. or pants on head retarded AI. oh well. orange box is great. frame rate is obviously not that big an issue with a game that has everything else in spades.
