This looks like just playing with the physics of this game could be hours of fun. How about a Godzilla game with this tech... This is a big deal I'm guessing.

I was 7 when star wars came out...I guess 10 or something when Empire came out. This is pretty much what I was thinking about 90 percent of the time back then. I was having actual dreams that looked something like this back then so I'm excited about it. To me, it looks like it plays very similar to the other Battlefront games so this is awesome. I'll pay whatever it costs and it will be worth it. PS the sound is a big part of why it is so good.

Had fun watching my 15 year old son play this last night (lights out, headphones on)...Scared the crap out of him. It's a great game to watch others play.
People who write "sigh" before enriching the world with their vast unassailable knowledge about shit they are just guessing about are the worst.

I just want to know why so many people who "don't want this game" continue to follow it so closely. If I don't want a game or it's not my thing or whatever, I NEVER (after initially determining that it's not my thing) read stories about it, let alone go out of my way to proclaim my distaste to the world. I guess this is what passes for "fun" on the internet.

I've played over 50 matches. It's the real deal. Best Alpha/demo/beta (whatever) I've EVER played. The AI are easy to kill but you won't win only killing AI. Remember, the other Pilots are also killing your AI so the teams that win will kill more pilots. FYI-I play a lot of battlefield, cod (I also play halo, but not for a while). Did you read my comment? You could have just typed "J". I'm trying to help make your trolling experience more efficient. If there are trolls over in the PS4 game threads you could simply provide a similar service for them.

It's simple. They are jealous and bitter (as you said). EVERYONE (ok I guess there is somebody out there who doesn't like it...who has actually played it but there are also people out there who still think the world is flat) who is playing the game or who has played it says its great but somehow ps fanatics are not impressed. I've been playing all day. It's great. On the bots...You get minor satisfaction for killing them (much lower score and it doesn't count towards most of the weapon/loadout unlocks as far as I can tell). But this makes getting a pilot feel much more satisfying. It also makes the action more frantic. Actually it has a bit of unreal feel to it as far as the action and pace. Similar to cod as far as how the gunplay feels. No killstreaks.
Do people really think they couldn't of made the number of players higher if they wanted to? Or are they complaining about the gameplay CHOICE to make it 6vs6? And are people actually making a negative judgment on this gameplay choice without actually playing it despite the fact that EVERYONE who has actually played it stays its hot to trot. Unbelievable.
Regardless. It's the best racer I've ever played (early personal review)...
I just played it for 3 hrs (1st session with the xbox). I was on the edge of my seat for almost the entire 3 hrs. That's all I care about when I game. Say what you want..the AI bs cloud sim stuff does work.
And yes the ps4 can do it too and the PS4 is 50% more powerful and ms lies and 900p and Kilzone 7 and bla bla bla bla bla bla

ps4 guys had a jizz fest over a kickstarter campaign so I don't think the crackdown excitement is too much. It does represent a giant leap forward for gaming. Disagree all you want, but it's a fact.
