I can understand wanting to bring back a feature Sony took away. I cannot understand them releasing the security key for Sony. What's the point, but to completely open up the PS3 for piracy? I don't agree with with either GeoHot or Fail reasons, because to me they are just in it for the glory.

Agreed w/multiplatform comment. Why are there multiplatform titles on the list when it says PS3 titles. I think honestly the only overhyped game on that entire list was Final Fantasy 13 and that was a multiplatform release. Only problem is based on the writers definition of overhyped only Lair and Motorstorm should be there.
The rest of the games except for GT5 you hardly heard anything about.

The entire situation is getting annoying. I keep thinking DreamCast here we go again. I knew it was going to be hacked, but not to this level. The thing that I really find funny is that I keep reading articles saying they only wanted to bring back previously removed features. I still don't see those features.
Why not just say "2011: The Line Up of the Year Belongs to Sony." Which is true because they have the best line up out of all the consoles for 2011, so far.
We read these articles every year saying this is the year of the "PUT YOUR CONSOLE NAME HERE." Now if Sony dropped the price of the PS3 and they outsell both the Wii and XBox360 (not combined) then it would be the year of the PS3. If the 360 or Wii outsell the PS3 it's their year.

I had a feeling that we were going to hear something like this sooner or later. I wouldn't be shocked if the PS4 gets released earlier than expected. Honestly the problem is not with Sony and I hate to say it.

It was all BS, they said the firmware was to bring back the ability to use other OS's. To bring back software and features Sony has removed. They didn't do that. What they did do was release a security key to the world, why so they could say they did it?

I gotta agree with you, I played thru ME 3 times before I got rid of my 360. There is nothing like playing through the actual game. This is a good idea in covering a lot of info for all the PS3 gamers that missed the original.
I got to agree with that. I don't care if it was a 2 month old build it still looked and played smoothly. Only problem I had was with the screen tearing which was present in the demo. Besides that it was awesome.
I think the GT5 one and the Move commercial with Kevin wearing the Viking hat are the funniest to me. Don't get me wrong this one is hilarious.

Not taking sides, but I have to agree. Sony has every right to remove anything they want on their system. When first using your PS3 there is about 5-8 pages worth of information called your TOS (Terms Of Service). If you are using the PS3 you had to agree to these TOS, if you didn't read it you can be held liable. I think it says the same on the system & in one of the manuals that come with the system. I loved the gameplay, sadly it does remind me of Splinter Cell: Conviction. Still it does look bad ass. I hope the controls in the game are very solid, if not no matter how good the game looks it's going to suck. It's one of my favorite games of show so far.
