Yea I've heard of that Boot & Nuke, but it's like a condom only works 94%-97% of the time. They even say it on the page works on "MOST" computers.
You can say that again. The only way to actually erase a HDD is set fire to it. You can restore a HDD with no restore points on it. If you can't personally do it they have places you can send your CPU off to that will restore it for you.
I hope they finally add holographic optics to the Battlefield series. I thought the RDS optics were horribly done.
It probably will be just like BC2 and have their servers for PC, PS3 & XBox360. It will usually streamline the maintenance. This time EA appears to be setting up dedicated servers for Battlefield. They will probably also rent dedicated servers again for PC players.

I got my GI issue last night and all I can say is this game is going to be INCREDIBLE!!!!! The level of detail for the damage alone is way beyond BC2.
According to the article you need to go to the EA Forums for Battlefield and complain about getting so few players. If you complain or ask for it enough you'll get more players on the 360 & PS3 versions.
I don't care how many players are in a game to be honest. I just want Battlefield 3 to be 10 times better than Bad Company 2. 32 players wouldn't be to much of a strain though.

I got to agree it just seems like they are being a little laxed. It doesn't sound like a console limitation with either the 360/PS3, but more along the lines of fans not wanting more. So it goes back to a comment another user made, it's DICE that is determining how many players are on the consoles versus the PC.

Only problem is if you're playing HardCore you don't see killcam.
I think Eiffel hit the nail on the head here. Developers have shown previously that console games can handle more than 24 players. It all depends on the developer and what they feel a platform can handle based on their software.
I am excited to see; how the new bullet drop works, if they will fix the knife mechanics and the friendly fire option (will it work in hardcore mode also)

LoL I don't see that happening anytime soon. I can't even play FPS games without destruction. Stopped playing CoD and won't be picking up Homefront or Operaton Flashpoint unless they give me that rush of anything can blow up around me.
I wonder how the console version would look running in 1080p instead of the native 720p.

That is so true, it's easier to talk big over the internet, compared to IRL.
Also you have to remember EA has stated BC will now become it's own franchise and we will still have BF main franchise.
I also agree I don't mind them "milking" a franchise as long as they keep it fresh and really add new content and experiences. Madden to me is the same thing EVERY year with 1 or 2 tweaks and more gimmicks.
