Yes, it all depends on the game. Wolfenstein looks nice now but by the end of this gen it will be dated. It's already getting there. It's still a good game though

I'm not reading the article for fear of spoilers. I can't wait until Tuesday though! I may have to work all week but I'm getting this game day1! I can't wait to play it in the dark and cranked up :) Maybe I should buy a headset while I'm at it
Certain games will be 30fps, that's just how they're made. That's not the issue. I'm laughing when I see people confusing the 2. It's sad really. So what if The Order is 30fps. What do you think it would be on X1? It might not even be able to hit 20, who knows. The point is if X1 can do it, PS4 should be able to OUT-do it. That's what everyone is getting at. When companies go for parity it's showing a lack of optimization to the Sony console and makes people mad.
I understand that, but that's missing the point. IF Xbox1 can do a game in 1080 just like the PS4, then he PS4 should still have room to spare (theoretically). If it's more powerful than the Xbox1 that is. So, if a game is at 900P on X1 then that same game "should" be able to get to 1080 on PS4. If it can't, something should be different I would think. Because one system is more powerful than the other. That's where the whole parity issue comes in.

I'm all for awesome announcements, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I've been down that road before
PS4 is more powerful that Xbox1. If the Box can do a game at certain resolutions that aren't full HD, it will always be questioned why the PS4 isn't getting 1080P. That, or the frame rate. The more powerful console is there to make the "better" version of said game. So you're saying one console is the same as the more powerful one?

Well I do know one thing, whether or not the parity thing is real, companies are going to have to start working more with the hardware and optimizing their games. Gamers have gotten very vocal this generation and a lack of sales from one small mishap can ruin them. Maybe we will finally get to a point where they don't think of us as sheep.
