Where was it said that ps+ was a game subscription service? I was just under the assumption that changed with release of the PS4 to a paid matchmaking service like XBL. They didn't separate the 2 because it just changed completely over. At least that's what I figured. I actually let the sub run out because the games weren't that appealing and I don't have enough to play online right now
Sony can't be this clueless. They're killing it in sales and raking in the Benjamins right now so why isn't the PSN beefed up?! All this online focus and we're essentially being told when we can play. Fukkin ridiculous. Come on Sony, get it together! I know you read this stuff!!
It's not that hard to have and run a server farm nowadays. Many companies do it, and they can be pretty self sufficient with solar panels

This is the 2nd price drop bro. First it was $500, then it was $400, and now there's this one. That's 3 different prices, two being "drops". There's so much spin in your post. Do you not realize that 720p and 30fps is still that much better than 0p and 0fps of what MS is offering? You know the 2nd card in the PS4 used for broadcasting is used for share play right? MS doesn't have that going for them. Also, I'd take 720p of a game I'm getting to play for FREE ...
I'm not sure what the author is getting at either. I won't ever forget what MS was trying to do at the beginning of this gen, or all that. Kinect talk, or the focus on TV. Albeit I wasnr going to buy an X1 but all that made it that much easier. So even with this price cut I'm thinking different than what MS is. I'm inclined to agree with @somenuts. This price cut does nothing more than PROVE how much MS was ripping off their customers. Since they've dropped Kinect it has been nothing but price cut after price cut
Square Enix "doesn't do much to excite". That sounds about right. I'm not surprised at all by this. Square can't even make a good remake. Wtf have they become? Can't say that the systems are hard to program for. More like "we don't want to work, we just want your money".

I've been wanting to get this game for awhile. Now, I'm not sure. I mean 8-10 hours for an RPG is a short game. People can take that any way they want to, but IMO RPGs need to be 20+ to be worth it. There's games that aren't RPG that take me longer than 20 hours to complete so that's just my opinion.
I hope more reviews come out soon. I'm still interested in the game, but if it really is that short I'll just get Shadow of Mordor instead (or alien ...

Only one person in here is sounding polarized right now. PS4 can and still will produce 1080p games. Not sure what you're going on about. Make an issue when more X1 games are 1080p and they have a streaming service like share play. Probably would be 592p or something /s

Not sure your numbers are right, especially for Sony (VGC?) but we can roll with those. This gen is interesting. I don't like MS, but it's nice to see them trying so hard :P
What I'd like to know is how the software sales between the X1 and PS4 are so close. All last gen all you heard was "Xbox fans buy more games." I don't believe that. I think the retail channels get flooded because MS takes up more floor space. That's my opinion on that
