A slim PS4 will be interesting. I actually like the way it looks right now.
As for all the talk about backwards compatibility, yes it's a nice feature to have. When I got my first PS3 all I played from PS2 was God of War 2 and FFXII. After that it was all PS3 games. I really don't understand the need for backwards compatibility when you can just keep your old system. Saying that though, I also don't see the need to have to get rid of all the old games/systems whe...
@SCW
I agree with Metallox although you're partly right. People use the term wrong yes, and house of the dead games are good examples, but in Uncharted you can move around and do all sorts of things anywhere on the level anytime you want to. Linear and on rails do not equal the same thing. It seems I have some disagrees must be those haters claiming RAILS!! Or they don't like mi sarcasmo
Haha yes!! The good old magazines! I remember thumbing through every time there was a new one just for one small piece of new info!! Then I just started reading them at the drug store, before they were putting them in plastic. That still didn't stop people!!
I can't watch because I hear the game is on rails! Please tell me it isn't on rails. O-M-G I hate me some RAILS!!!
Edit: I just watched and there were rails everywhere!! The haters were right!!!
I loved FFIX!! I played 7 so many times but 9 only once. Now I have an urge to play it again
Disagree! People can say that about any MS exclusive game too. I don't own an X1 so any games that are exclusive to that platform I just don't get to play. No biggie. More to life than vidya gaemz
In before someone talks trash.... I'm not talking about 3rd party exclusives either
There's going to be a lot of contenders this year that's for sure.
Completely off topic why do people keep saying the Order is on rails?!
@auto
I'd question the validity of those numbers. I highly doubt they're accurate. I'm starting to notice some inflated sales numbers by some companies. Also, weren't a lot of games "given away"? You can't honestly tell me that even though a game was being given with the console purchase (X1), that it would still outsell the PS4 version of the same game when only counting ones at retail for full price? I don't trust these numbers at all. Let's sa...
Not that I have to prove myself to you. Look at my previous posts. Hell, look up "Muzikguy" on PSN. Trolls piss me off. So quick to cast judgement. Think for once guys, dam!
I haven't been online, and it's TRUE, because I don't have any worthwhile online games to play. Haven't all last year really, which is why I only had Plus for a few months. I don't know if I want to pay for it come February or not. I just don't game online and as much as ...
I'm glad to hear this, but I haven't been online in weeks! Hopefully it gets better from now on
So it's AMD's fault the network goes down? I've never been more confused
What charts are people looking at? Those are all multiplats on 5 different systems not just X1
They have nothing on my super uber graphical monster of a PC that can render 4K @120FPS and output to 6 screens simultaneously!! /s
Why are people always so unhappy? Always so quick to find fault? Always wanting more and never satisfied? Entitlement is indeed the word for this. I'm shocked at how people have been raised. I was taught to appreciate what I was given and not be so GREEDY! This really is a non-issue. It has nothing to do with taking whatever a company says as truth or "getting screwed". Believe me I'll be the first to b!tch at Sony, AT&T, Charter, or whoever I feel is trying to eff me o...
What top games are those?
Agreed! If people want to complain about the price then just don't buy one and wait even longer while the people that have it already are enjoying all it has to offer. I remember the PS2 took forever to drop in price but was still selling lie crazy. There's no reason for Sony to drop the price right now.
Cost of making games may have indeed gone up. If I'm not mistaken, the entire industry has more than doubled since the SNES days. Games tend to sell more copies than they used to. Not to mention, some of these games have some seriously inflated budgets. It shouldn't take hundreds of people YEARS to make one single game! Personally I think companies want to talk about higher costs just fool us. Production should've gotten a lot easier by now
As for getting all thos...
I agree with you and wonderfulmonkeyman, and I don't even own a portable Nintendo system. Why people are complaining about having to spend $3-$5 extra on something is INSANE! If Nintendo wanted to put the charger in they'd probably add a minimum of $10. So people are saving money, and they complain. Pay more, they complain. It's a vicious cycle. Personally I don't trouble myself with minor things like that and life is so much happier!! There's no reason to stress out over ...
This is the kind of stuff that I was always figuring DLC would lead to. Most DLC pricing "annoys" me already. That's why I don't buy any! As for this game though, I won't even look at it anymore. Why bother trying to do something like this? They should know gamers are being a lot more vocal this gen (and with they're wallets too)
This game disappointed me. Not because I played it or anything, but I was thinking it was something else. The name reminded me of Loaded back on PS1 and I was totally hoping for a newer one of those :/
