No different then Sony doing the same thing with Move. Which both motion controllers are option. Can some of you simply grow up and just accept you are not the only gamer type in the world. How many times do you have to complain and point out what you don't like. Put that energy towards what you are ACTUALLY interested in.

I enjoy playing with my controllers and Keyboard/Mouse for PC gaming and have fun playing Kinect by myself and with family/friends. If you don't care any Kinect information shouldn't waste your time even making this comment Mr. Old Skool.

Get your facts straight. Your games are tied to your gamertag. If you have your gamertag you have access not only on the 360 dashboard itself to retrieve and download, but also at the website as Redgehammer mentioned you can do a license change. But with the fanboy on your knees response about Sony it probably doesn't matter that now you know the facts.
I have a better experience on Live and have had that for 10 years along with the friends and family that play on Live. Being free doesn't make it better. Being down for over a month doesn't help it either.
Yes it would probably take a combined sales of all those games to beat Gears sales. I mean think about it. Why isn't Uncharted as much hype(which it deserves IMO) not generating the pre-orders like this? Why didn't GT5 do this?

The hackers are to blame for 1 MONTH??? Really? Your trying to say the PS3 is seeing some decline over one month of PSN being down so the 360 worldwide just boosted it numbers in the last month? No other reason like the Slim increasing numbers for the past year and Kinect since November but for one month of hacker issues?

6 Years later and the PS3 still hasn't passed it either. Big difference compared to last generation.
Oh please. They were not even supposed to be in the position they are today with the product they have. You still have opinion pieces and people who don't even have Kinect moan and complain that it exist and that it is as successful as it has been. Oh and the world will end because Kinect has been successful and no way you can have hardcore games on it.

Personally for you okay. But I doubt in general if BF3 offered these same features that it would sway mass amounts of gamers that enjoy COD just because of this option.
