So you recommend Sony follow which is exactly what they have been doing which is a major part of the problems they have today because their direct competition has done it good if not better in some cases with a cheaper price. Regardless if they came out its this first or not would not help them with their issues. The tv isn't mainstream price at $25,000.
No it isn't. It is a port of the same engine they have been using for years and it came from the PSP version. Regardless you are ignoring the fact that 4k is 1080p today. We will not see games in 4k natively. Upconverted yes just like the 360 does now.
If that was true, they never would have changed the originsl expected sales twice and then group the sales with the PSP
Yep. Talk about lowered expectations.
Yet here you are posting a comment about an opinion piece. So this article took you away from PS+ to post a comment? You needed to come justify why you use PS+ on this one website about this opinion piece? Amazing how sensitive some of you are.

Actually some of us do take advantage of Live for more than just gaming. Same thing with PSN. I turned off Directv so the shows I care to watch and movies I want to watch are available on Live through the Video marketplace,Hulu and Netflix. So our 360s get used in 5 different rooms for everything.
The games I decide I am interested in buying yes. I know full well why games cost $60 and why they used to cost 70 back in the days. I also know if I care to spend 99cents on a game or 150 on a special edition.
Not one person here can give an official what is a hardcore gamer. You talk to ten random people and you are going to they 10 different answers how some claims how they are hardcore.
Either you play a particular game for 15 hours a day like COD/Halo/WOW
You Own all the consoles since Atari
You play only FPS games.
Not one person here can say what officially isa hardcore gamer
Wow,
What is sad is that you all sound like your some master race. Games were made for anyone to play and it just sounds ignorant how you all talk about how a company has mad a game more accesible for people to play. Find a new hobby then. Even amongst all these "people" playing games you can find your "kind" anywhere to hook up and play. It really is sad how somehow you think you are more important than others because you self proclaim your self as some ...
That is a difference I can see in the two old games I already have played and have no interest playing. With MS, it is new games. I may not like the games but at least it is something new to try.
You mean like trophies and multiple console skus that we're not originally announced until after MS offered them? Then Sony for years confirming cross-chat was coming and then officially said it couldn't be done but that would have been another we didn't do first crap your spewing? Why does it matter who did what first?
This is pretty much similar to PS Plus. You pay to play the free games.
Videogmaes was never about core in the beginning or hardcore gamers. It is a niche group. Systems live off of mainstream.
People don't just buy iPhones or tablets for just gaming. That is such a weak argument when these devices are so diverse people can all say they use a phone to call. The other problem is you assume people buying those phomes and tablets are all gamers. I have the option to game on my iPhone and iPad and many other things I can do like download comics and do my bills with banking and specific apps. It is used daily in my life. Not everyone needs a Vita. Of course some of the games look gre...
Because playing games is the only reason for buying a mobile PHONE. Sigh
So far regardless of the few original or ports available, they haven't had mass appeal worldwide so the current crop of games are not appealing enough to the current demographic that sees the Vita being a must have system.
just because it says Black Ops doesn't mean it is a port. It doesn't use the same engine or is the same game at all.
Nothing to hate about in the first place. Tokyo Game show doesn't guarantee anything other than we will get announcements. That lesson should have been learned going into E3.
.....Yeah!
If there is any indication from the first set of commercials it is not going to be an easy task.
