I have a feeling this game will be the equivalent to ZombiU.
@TrueNinja No, this is what the original leak says and it's very specific:
"game NOT for nortamser uior Euroep, btway which maek sno nsense byt hwathever.”"
i.e. Game NOT for North America or Europe, which makes no sense but whatever.
The writer of this article creatively added extra information not included with the actual leak from CBOAT. CBOAT states it's Japan-only.
No, I don't think it would matter if it's a shooter. The rumor/truthfact states this exclusive game is only coming to Japan and NOT North America or Europe.
It's really peculiar that this is an exclusive game for Japan ONLY. It seems that some people aren't realizing that the truthfact is stating this game isn't coming to North America or Europe. What could it be then and why only to Japan?
Just to clarify, it's still only 24 players on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Only the next gen systems allow up to 64 players.
This is absolutely correct! Lets take a look at Amazon's top 100 sales for 2013 so far to get a better picture of the situation.
#3 - Playstation 4: Launch Day Edition
#7 - Xbox One: Day One Edition
#32 - Playstation 4: Standard Edition
#68 - Playstation 4: Watch Dogs Bundle
#70 - Playstation 4: Battlefield 4 Bundle
The standard edition Xbox One hasn't hit the top 100 yet, I'm assuming it will within a month or so...
@JokesOnYou Just to clarify the GPU specs between the systems.
Xbox 360 - 240Gflops
PS3 -------- 228Gflops
Xbox One - 1.3Tflops (with 53Mhz increase)
PS4 -------- 1.84Tflops
The GPU power difference was actually closer between the PS3 and Xbox 360, 12Gflops, with the slight win going to the Xbox 360. Now the GPU power difference is much greater, 540Gflops in the PS4, or over two times the GPU power of the Xbox 360. It'll be nice in...
Yes, the PS4 is far ahead of the X1 in preorders at Amazon at least. Their "best sellers of 2013" list shows which products have had the most orders so far this year. This is where they currently stand:
#3 - Playstation 4 (Launch Edition)
#6 - Xbox One (Day One Edition)
#35 - Playstation 4 (Standard Edition)
#67 - Playstation 4 (Watch Dogs Bundle)
#69 - Playstation 4 (Battlefield 4 bundle)
The only currently availab...
In regards to the cloud-computing claim, Azure will not improve the graphical power of the X1. The average internet bandwidth in America is 20Mbps. In comparison the Xbox One's eSRAM has a bandwidth of 104,448Mbps. Even if the average internet speed increased to 100Mbps within the next 5 years it still doesn't provide the bandwidth needed to transfer increased textures or better graphical fidelity.
It's something Microsoft has been mentioning because their GPU is...
@ABizzel1 I think it's better to compare it to the $199 Xbox 360, which includes 4GB. I'm guessing that's what they're going for. Compared to that this is a slightly better deal, but you'd be wise to add a new hard drive.
If your PS+ account info is on a friend's console as a secondary login, he'll have access to all the games on your account. Including the free games each week from PS+. You can play multiplayer online together and all that good stuff as well. You do NOT get cloud-saves though, only the main account holder.
Sony used to allow game sharing on up to five systems but lowered it down to two because people were creating "gameshare groups". Which were groups of 5 p...
There have already been articles such as this on IGN, Engagdet, Digital Spy, and more.
"Sony Playstation 4 will run at a significantly cooler temperature than the PlayStation 3, making it less likely to overheat.
Extensive testing by US government agency the FCC has revealed that the console will run at between 5 and 35 degrees Celsius, compared to its predecessor's average of between 45 and 55."
I have your facts, at least regarding Amazon. Quickly referring to the "best sellers of 2013" list shows the launch PS4 is in 3rd rank and the X1 is in 6th rank. So according to Amazon's total sellers list, more people have preordered the PS4 launch system. Which is more impressive since the launch PS4 sold out a week after E3 and the X1 only recently became out of stock.

The launch edition PS4 system was actually in the number one position for about a week or so after E3. It sold out shortly after and is currently at number 3 on the best sellers of 2013 list.
The launch edition of the X1 has been available for about a month and has just now sold out. Which is currently sitting at number 6 on the best sellers list. http://www.amazon.com/gp/be....
That's good and all. Except for comparison the launch PS4 system on Amazon sold out within a week after E3 and it's still ahead of the X1 in total best sellers of 2013. The X1 is 6th even after a full month longer being sold. http://www.amazon.com/gp/be...
Anandtech did a great hardware comparison which you can see here: http://www.anandtech.com/sh...
The Xbox One has 768 GPU cores and the PS4 has 1152 GPU cores. It's 1.23TFLOPS against 1.84TFLOPS, a difference of 610GFLOPS... which is the equivalent of 2 1/2 times the Xbox 360's GPU.
I'll throw in some more tech facts, the Xbox 360's...
Microsoft is at a 610 GFLOPS disadvantage in GPU power this generation when you break it down. That's the equivalent to almost 2.5x Xbox 360's GPU power(which is 240 GLOPS for reference). The PS3's is 228 GFLOPS for more tech facts. That makes the PS4 more than "a bit more powerful".
Microsoft must have felt they needed some sort of smoke and mirrors to counteract that news so they've been talking a lot about the cloud. It's more sad that people ...
@Kleptic I'm so glad there are other intelligent people that know how technology actually works. Microsoft is at a 610 GFLOPS disadvantage in GPU power this generation, the equivalent to almost 2.5X the Xbox 360's power(which is 240 GLOPS for reference).
Microsoft must have felt they needed some sort of smoke and mirrors to counteract that news. It's more sad that people don't do research and find out how much BS it is. Considering the average internet speed ...
@Mystogan The power difference is NOT minimal this generation. The PS4 has 50% more cores on the GPU and that alone is the biggest contributing factor to game performance. In comparison to the 360 and PS3, the 360 had 240 GFLOPS of power on the GPU and the PS3 had 228 GFLOPS. Hence why games looked slightly better on the 360.
Now there's a much larger performance gap this generation... a 610 GFLOPS advantage for the PS4. That's not even calculating in the faster ram or extra ...
According to the price history on Amazon these cards have already been around this price or even a little cheaper. This is good news though because that means Amazon will, at times, have them even more affordable.
As a side note, I don't think Amazon has updated their prices yet. They have the 16GB at around $45 and it's supposed to be $40. The one currently available right now is from a 3rd party seller.
