Capcom has really let me down this past year or two with titles that fell short of my not-too-high expectations. Be nice if DMC and/or RE6 changes that.
Darksiders II and Metro: Last Light have looked impressive. I really hope they continue to be at E3 and release for THQ. Otherwise, the studio may sadly be in a lot more financial trouble.
My reasonable Sony prediction: Quantic Dream shows the reveal trailer for it's first game since Heavy Rain.
My dark horse/unlikely Sony prediction: Valve announces Left 4 Dead 3 and/or Half Life 3 on the Sony stage. They've fooled people before.
This game looks better the more I hear about it. A military shooter that actually looks into the ugly, psychological effects of warfare. Awesome.
Oh how I loved playing No Mercy back in the day. I can't recall how many hours I lost to that game in my youth.
Also, Sony is making a MAJOR mistake if those used game rumors are true.
I agree, but so did APB. The integration with Eve Online does look sick though.
No new Xbox at E3? Well, that's disappointing.
It could also mean that Ashley or Kaiden, whoever survived, was promoted by the Council to become a Spectre after the events of Mass Effect 2. Perhaps as a means to replace Shepard and keep a human presence in the elite agency/force.
While I tend to disagree with a lot of the points made here, this is a very well thought out and written piece.
It was definitely an interesting, albeit short, review. Enjoyed the read.
Would be quite nice. Definitely make the 3DS more appealing to gamers.
I agree. I do love the classic Nintendo mainstays, but it's time for the company to get some fresh blood in there. They need it.
A nice selection. I remember when Sub Zero's fatality in the original MK was the most badass thing I'd ever seen in a game. Oh nostalgia.
To this story I reply with three words: Guild Wars 2.
I don't think the rhythm game genre is dead. I think it was a genre that should have never been fleshed out like most others are. It isn't a genre that has legs for that kind of output while maintaining interest because of the cost. I think it was more oversaturation than the fact that the games are a novelty. It'll stick around so long as the games get released every few years. Though that will probably mean the death and/or severe cutback of most developers who started the genre...
Good list. Though I'm pretty sure Beyond Good and Evil 2 is in development. Last I checked it was just going to take a long, long time for it to get finished. The release of Beyond Good and Evil HD was probably a means rebuild interest for a sequel reveal.
Very interesting. Will need to keep my eye on this.
Great choices. When I saw the pistol from Combat Evolved was second I was like, "But that was a Godly pistol. What could be better?" Then I saw the Golden Gun. Fully agree.
Solid picks in there. Really approve of the number one choice.
That. Is. Awesome!
