Awesome. I haven't listened yet, but I'm sure it'll be another great episode.
It definitely is worth checking out. I'm someone who normally doesn't like tower defense, RTS, or war games...but they did such a good job on this on this game.
I was surprised by how fun this game is. I think a lot of people will get a kick out of it.
Ugh, what a mediocre week.
Anyone who hasn't played this game needs to check it out.
I am REALLY glad to see that achievements didn't get listed here (aside from being mentioned along with the guide button). I was a little worried about that. One thing that I think deserves a bit of attention, though, is the introduction of hard drives and the ability to download games. Downloadable games have had a huge impact, I think, and it gives us a great way to play fun new games without spending a ton of money.
Also, something I thought I would mention real quick: te...
Nice article. It's interesting to hear a bit about some of these names.
Very cool. I don't have an iPhone, but I still visit the site frequently, so if I ever do get one, I'll have a ton of decent free games for it. Heh.
Well, I would say there is still a fair number of games that are worse than this, but the dishonesty coupled with the high price point for a game that is a dollar on the iPhone (they're the exact same game) make this game not worthy of a score. It doesn't really even deserve to be reviewed, but I'm hoping I can help keep at least a few people from getting duped.
Do I really have to work for my cake? 'Cause the grocery store sells them for about 5 bucks.
I think the most important thing I've learned is that you must always be careful around red barrels.
Oh, I know the feeling. I still have a few years worth of games to catch up on. That's why I still keep my Dreamcast and PS2 hooked up. And Wii's Virtual Console only makes things more difficult!
I certainly wouldn't say it's bad by any means, but I know what you mean and I agree. As a standalone game, it would be just as good as the first one, if not better. But as a sequel, it doesn't quite deliver. Honestly, though, I don't know what they could've done to avoid this; it's very hard to have the same bang when so much of the first game's appeal was its mystery.
Actually, I consider 8 to be a fairly high score, especially considering that 9 is the absolute highest I have ever scored a game. But really, it's just a number anyway. It may not be as good as the first game, but it is still very enjoyable.
Yeah, definitely not. But it's actually good to have if you feel like playing BioShock for a few minutes (perhaps before bed or before work/school) and don't want to worry about getting sucked in for too long.
No respect for the classics!
What is Heathcliff? It was an old comic strip that got turned into a cartoon series when I was a kid. He's not nearly as popular as Garfield, but I've always liked him more.
I would like some info too, but very little is known at the moment. I'll be keeping my eye on this, though.
I was really surprised by the multiplayer, which wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. Sure, it's not all that special or anything, but I thought it would be awful.
I heard you talking about this and it sounds like a lot of fun. I actually almost bought Borderlands today, but I figured I should probably wait until I finish a couple of the games I already have.
