I rated this article down along with the site, because not going to lie, these little clashes of PC versus PS4 is really starting to jerk people off, along with me. I like the PS4, but until my PC has run out of games, I just won't buy it (or cough... MGS PP).
This makes me want to go out and buy AC:4 for the PC. But everytime I think of doing so, I recall what Ubisoft said about PC gamers.
I personally did not enjoy Gears 1, I felt it was terrible compared to 2 and 3, but then again, I played number 1 a few years after its release, so I do not doubt my dislike for the game. However, I did very much enjoy games like the lost odyssey and infinite undiscovery and even blue dragon, those were pretty bada**.
I believe the reason they're so expensive is because they don't follow the logics of economics. In econ, you have objects fall in price the more people buy it, which is why the Persona series for example, hardly ever drops in price, since they only have a group of fans. While you look at titles like, Battlefield 3. It took a while for the price to drop on that, but it dropped a great deal in just two years, from 60 to less than 5 (if you bought the humble bundle). So in terms of digit...
Depends on when you look. If you looked back around the Ps2 era, yes, that was a mainstream game along with nearly every other RPGs. Now, it's like the era of indie titles, people everywhere focus on more indie titles than ever, and it can also be about shooters as well, depending on how you look at it.
That is still very hard to do, even with a mini-itx. My guess is that not only can this "pc" do what a pc can do, but it's made to use a controller, sit on a couch and enjoy a nice long gaming session.
@black0o
Not necessarily. The PSP fan base got bigger, guess what happened, gamers started hacking the crap out of it :P. I'm just saying, I rather wait and play the PS3 exclusives, rather than buy it right now for 400 dollars, especially when I have PC and Xbox and even a Wii that's far more ready to played and has games there sitting and gawking at me.
Ya, I understand what you mean, and especially since whenever there is true Black Friday, it feels like Christmas, and when Christmas happens, it feels like give away for nothing day.
I haven't sold mine either, especially until the PS4 bugs and glitches are ruled out, there' literally no reason to purchase one.
I smell a new GOTY competitor coming on.
Umm, I disagree with most of these, as it barely talks about PC games. If the title stated Top 5 Black Friday deals for console games, then I would say it's pretty good.
I couldn't agree any more. I personally am getting it on PC, only cause Bethesda does nicely with PC ports, while the PS4, I want to see it shine far better than New Vegas; not that New Vegas looked bad, i do think it could have been a lot better.
I don't entirely agree with this article, especially since Solaire does have a high chance of surviving if you know what to do.
Uplay second to steam? Can I see a source? Last time I checked, there's more games on GOG and more individuals using GOG or even Origin than they are using Uplay.
Well certainly i know I was. I paid a good amount of money for my rig, and that's because I know I can achieve something far greater with mods and the developers can help by making the code a lot more in-sync and raise to a whole new graphical fidelity. But the way Ubisoft is saying it, they just literally flipped off every PC gamer out there, stating that 60 bucks isn't good enough for them.
I'm not sure about AC4, but none of the other AC games are properly optimized for PC. I recently just played AC1, Brotherhood and currently on Revelation, and each of them have many crashes every now and then. There's also this color flaw that exist within the PC port and not within the Xbox or PS3 ports. Furthermore, the main problem is that these developers are just downright lazy. Most of these problems, including the graphics glitches or lack of frames even on a high end card is j...
Agree with you totally. I personally myself prefer PC, aside from the delicious console exclusive goodness, however, I can say for certain that mobile games are not the future. I would understand if he was talking about Phoenix Wright titles for the DS as they are THE BOMB, but games like templar run or something along those lines are games you would give to casual players. You cannot put Civ 5 into a small device and keep all the features,it's a game that should be played on a TV or a mo...
I thought Polygon were supposed to be a company that wasn't biased since they started up as nobodies and then became a bigger journalist company. Pitiful, they had everything and now they're trying to lose it. O well, time to go back to Giantbomb, at least they tell me if they're bulls***ng me or not.
You know, normally I don't support piracy, but really, Ubisoft is just asking for it now. I mean, PC gamers like myself paid a good amount of money to play Brotherhood and Revelation (worst optimized games in terms of that year), and even though it was terribly optimized, meaning the color for that game wasn't even right, and we had to deal with Uplay, some of us still went out of our way to help you guys out. Now you're just flipping us off and telling us that you're going to...
I think in terms of the art, I feel it is better, but in terms of the visuals, the eye candy utilizing strong shaders and great Open GL lighting is what makes KZ, KZ
