What the hell does the average gamer's patience have to do with the end product???
So we've got patient gamers - GoW releases on a given day.
So we've got impatient gamers - the same product releases on the same day.
You can be patient and impatient all you want, there's no payoff for one over the other here, as we're not developing the game.
Where's the one article titled, "Why idiot fanboys linking their own pathetic attempts at journalism on n4g will never be taken seriously."???
Translation: We didn't hire the same folks that Guerilla Games, Media Molecule, Konami, and Insomniac did. We hired the same retards that Valve hired and they keep inserting Blu-ray discs up-side down because couldn't code their way out of a wet paper bag. If it seems like it's coming along fine in the next few months, we'll release it for the PS3. If our programmers prove to be as dumb as the Valve idiots, we'll have to release it for 360 and PC only.
What did this reviewer expect from a FPS? Shooting. That's what it is. Quit faulting the game for not giving you a back massage, walking your dog, or the winning lotto numbers in advance.
Either it's a good FPS, or it's not a good FPS, what else is there?
What else do you want from it? Make your breakfast, get your slippers, and clean the house?
It's not trying to be anything other than a FPS, so stop rating it against the Hubble Space Telescope.
Who's the brain child that wrote this article? This sentence basically states that 5 games exist which have the gift of sight and these games are using their newfound sense to look forward.
You mean 'to' not 'too'. How come any 13 yr old idiot with blog space can type in a few poorly structured sentences and then come over here and post their own 'news'??? Isn't there SOME level of control here? Some minimum standard of 'journalism'??
This steaming pile of bovine...
"PlayStation Home has been met with mixed opinions since its launch. An honest gamer takes an honest look at Home, and looks at both its merits AND failings."
- So this honest gamer adds his own mixed opinions to the big steaming pile? Way to stand out.
How can the dork writing this be so myopic? Microsoft's vision is MUCH bigger than the 360. The author of this article... now HIS vision is narrow. Try Zune vs. Ipod, MSN vs. AOL, MSN search vs. Google, Windows vs. Linux and Mac, Media Center and DL movies vs. not having to check online with MS every time you want to watch a movie you supposedly own, Office vs. Corel, and underhanded business practices to enforce their monopoly on every corner of the market and push out competition (anyone re...
Good idea. Except that we forget there are only a couple million LBP players out there. Figure, generously, that only 20% of them care enough to go and visit a social networking site for gamers (virgin losers), and that of those 20%, only half are going to care enough to visit the site more than once.
It's a good idea, but the demographic is WAY too small for it to go anywhere. It's like a facebook only open to people who were born in October 1985.
OK. So here's a hypothetical scenario: M$ and Sony admit Wii is a competitor. OK. Great. How does that change anything? What is the value of this story or 90% of any other found here?
Didn't we just have an article passing through here about how Sony DIDN'T hype LBP nearly enough? Or hasn't hyped any game enough for that matter?
How come anyone with a web addy can write their own biased opinions, call themselves a 'game critic' or a 'journalist', and then put their own semi-literate crap up here like it's some sort of earth-shattering news? Can't this site have some sort of standards before tripe like this is approved?
"In a post to the company's web forum, Newell asked for gamer's assistance in finding the hackers responsible"
- and for gamers everywhere to send him more cheeseburgers as his weight had declined to a dangerously thin (for him) 600 pounds.
JCVD had a masterpiece? When did this happen?
My welcome? Well, I'm glad you gave me a welcome, that was thoughtful.
And you're welcome in advance for the basic english lesson... video game 'journalist.'
This will end it once and for all. I mean, all those posts by everyone else pleading for virgin losers to stop arguing over consoles over the past few years meant well, but THIS is different. THIS will finally end all the fanboyism.. Oh, let me put a flower in my USB port and sing "It's a small world".....
Thank you SO MUCH goozexreport.... You may not be a journalist, or have a girlfriend, credentials, and social life. But you have singelhandedly stopped the losers f...
"This isn't a covert way of panning the game, but rather a way to summarize the valid negative issues that can get lost in the deafening wave of praise."
- Or it could just be another example of how video game "journalism" (and I use that word very, very loosely) is no different than actual journalism - it's all about the number of clicks to the site, love or hate it, a click is a click is a click and the advertisers realize this. I'm serious, just read the ...
Fox Hussein News.
And in further news that you don't care about, I had raisin bran with skim milk for breakfast.
"the company is reportedly still struggling to reduce the console's production costs. "
As opposed to them 'casually trying' to drop the price, or 'not struggling' to drop the price? How the hell is this news?
Hey, here's a late breaker: The world is reportedly still trading currency for goods and services.
There really should be some sort of standard before letting this sort of crap on N4G.
I can tell you why it won't be exclusive: Microsoft will buy it. They'll send a freighter full of money to Square and get the game just like they did with GTA DLC, FFXIII, and god knows what else. And the end quality will suffer because the devs will have to dumb it down for the 360. But that's OK by the devs, because they'll be lighting their Cuban cigars with Microsoft's $100 bills.
