You say that like they have neglected games and the updates are it has but they have done well in both updates and games.
Any fanboy of any platform will consider something to be a big deal only if it's in their favor. Not just MS fanboys. Of course it's only a big deal if it's in their favor, they are fanboys. In the same way that if this situation was reversed, Sony fanboys would claim they don't care too. Not much point listening to fanboys over the matter; only reasonable adults with no loyalty to a company behind the product.
I disagreed because I feel like you're imply...
I get that but I am just poking holes in the headline of the article, No excuses.
I am not saying it's not worth the price or anything. Just that no excuses is a silly thing. Even at that price; there is plenty of reasons to hold off on a Wii U still.
It still doesn't have any games or announced games that I want to play. How is that not a good excuse? Being cheap isn't a good reason to buy something you don't want.
A week is long enough to complete a game like this. I am in the UK so I just got mine today. A buddy and I got through 11% completion in the 3-4 hours we played tonight. It can't be that long.
Couldn't disagree more. I liked Origins but hate Inquisition. The lore seems uninteresting, the characters uninspired and unlikable; wouldn't bother me if any of them died (unlike Mass Effect which would devastate me), the combat is slow and boring to me, the enemy variety is horrible and the game feels like an MMO with those huge empty areas, bad quests and bad combat.
To each their own but in my opinion, DAI is one of the most overrated games of 2014.
I find it hard to side with either side in this matter. AngryJoe was given footage of Street Fighter from Capcom and because he wasn't allowed to monetize it; he took the entire video down so we couldn't see it. He must respect his fans eh? They won't lift a finger unless they get paid for it.
And he gets paid for his fake reactions over a trailer that he ripped from another Youtube channel? They should be grateful they could live this life as long as they did, n...
I believe I recall hearing that a reboot is already planned. They don't waste any time.
But new director, new cast and new story? I would be willing to give it a chance. They should scratch the next film and just get to the reboot in my opinion.
Good news for me, I am not fond of the Touchpad or most uses of the speakers myself so this is great news for me. Although being able to map your controls on console is a little overdo.
While the video games don't really feel like Resident Evil anymore; I am still thoroughly enjoying them all. Revelations 2 and a possible Resi 2 remake could still hold promise for the franchise.
The movies however.. They need to end.
That movement bothers me. I have Preordered games for over a decade and never had any regrets. The movement should change their focus to informing people on how to preorder correctly.
This for example; it's too early to preorder The Division until we get closer to launch and see more gameplay footage.
You win by surviving; finding clothes, weapons and ammo to prolong your life. Being able to pay to have those things dropped which developers were quoted saying "Would really suck" if they did that. It defeats the point of even playing really.
Making it hard to get the thing you spent your own real life money on because of other players doesn't make it less of a Pay to Win feature; it makes it a badly done, Pay to Win feature.
The game is in e...
Of course not. There is nothing wrong with Multiplayer only games just like there is nothing wrong with single player only games.
What is ruining games is tacking on a crap, rushed and buggy multiplayer mode just for the sake of having it.
Some of the most popular games are multiplayer only. Suggesting they are somehow bad or ruining games is obvious ignorant dribble from a single player only gamer.
You know; I see a lot more PS guys complaining about Xbox guys not liking Indies than I see of Xbox guys actually complaining about Indies.
How about the fanboys just pipe down for once? Even if there is no fanboys in the comment section yet, the fanboys from the other side and here provoking them. Don't you people have games to play?
Was excited to hear about this, was loving the trailer and the setting and then realized it's a turn based game coming to Ipad as well.
Good way to kill my interest in a game. I can't imagine it being all that great or much of a Firaxis game if it's going to compromise in order to fit onto an Ipad..
What is silly is that you are trying to disregard his opinion when his criticism seems quite valid. This is the game I got the PS4 for but be honest for a second.
They usually put the best parts into the demo in order to encourage people to buy the game. It's very valid to judge a game based on a demo.
You say there is only 2 QTEs in the demo but if you watch this video, you will see there it's filled with them and parts where you just hold the stick...
Hopefully it's in the first half of 2015. I keep getting the urge to play this but I don't want to play it on 360 or PC and end up being done with it by the time it releases on X1.
Wasn't this obvious? The deadline was set ten years ago when Halo 2 released and Microsoft changed the project from Halo 2 Anniversary to a Halo collection. Adding more to the workload but keeping the same deadline.
I feel for 343. I really enjoyed the quality of Halo 4 despite it's flaws and I am really liking what they have done with the Halo 5 MP.
I don't want to know what you class as success if the second fastest selling console in the world is "struggling"
Just because the PS4 is doing really well, doesn't mean the Xbox is doing badly. They are both doing quite well for themselves. Even the Wii U can't be described as struggling.
I really didn't enjoy Inquisition; if it's a "return to form" for Bioware then it makes me worried for their other games. Origins and Mass Effect were far better in my opinion.
