But does it mean the last Metal Gear or just the last one with Solid in the title? I was hoping Phantom Pain was leading up to a Metal Gear remake.
Ground Zeroes wasn't particularly a bad game yet it received a lot of criticism for the price point, regardless if it may or not not drop in the future. The Order is receiving the same treatment but unlike Ground Zeroes, people are defending it and I am inclined to think it's because it's an exclusive. People like to defend exclusives, Xbox and Nintendo people do it too.

If this wasn't an exclusive, people wouldn't be defending it. Like MGS: Ground Zeroes, people called it out for what it was but now that it's an exclusive, nope. Free pass.
Thankfully the users on most other sites are not as blind as the users here. Even the the sub reddit dedicated to the PS4 are able to critique this game rather than blame reviewers and gamers for not liking the game.
I don't mind them bunching them all into the second half of the year. It's much better than them rushing a few games in order to have something at the start of the year.
Usually most people would agree with allowing devs to do their thing and letting them release when ready.
There is plenty of third party games to keep us occupied until they do come, it shouldn't matter what time of the year the first party games come at, as long as we get them ...
The length is not the problem. It's the price you pay considering the length.
Not many are willing to pay $60 for a short game just because the graphics and cinematics are top notch, as we are seeing from all the complaints.
I really enjoyed the game myself but the complaints are valid. You can't tell everybody to vote with their wallets then get mad when they vote against a game you like.
Early Access has been a mess on Steam with a lot of games never actually being finished. We complain about broken games being released but what incentive is there when the developer has already been paid for the game that hasn't been finished. This is horrible news.
You're missing the point. These are common deals that both companies partake in. You can't get angry at one company for making deals like this then give the other a free pass.
Which is all pretty irrelevant in this discussion anyway because Microsoft didn't pay for these features. Sony said no to them. And seemingly most of the users supported that decision on here and other sites when it happened.
But everyone seemed to back Sony up when they said no to the service that made this possible.
Then again; it's the Youtube comments section. You're not going to find the brightest people there or even rationality.
I really enjoyed the first episode; I thought it more akin to the older games than the hollywood action fest that the main series has become. And this isn't going to replace the main series so I think this is great.
Not much ammo, not much space for carrying things, they made Uroboros not crap and that forest part was awesome!

Those were the same enemies, it's the same area that Claire went through, just 6 months later so they have rotted away a bit and are slower because of it.
I just thought it would be a pretty unpopular feature these days. Online coop seems to have replaced splitscreen for most people. Except from Nintendo, most console games are straying away from it too.
I just never thought many people would play splitscreen on PC for very many games.

Unity caused a huge uproar when it launched in the state it did. Where on Earth where you when that happened because if you didn't see that stink, it's because you choose not to see or it or to forget it now.
I thought the gameplay was actually really good. But unfortunately it's so short and massively dwarfed by cutscenes. To gain control of your character only to walk a few feet in the next cutscene gets annoying. Or forcing us to walk slowly so often.
I knew it was going to be cinematic but I think it might have went too far. The AI is quite dull and so few enemies that you breeze past the actual gameplay faster than we should.
The fanboyism goes both ways yeah. All fanboys, regardless of their platform of choice are constantly saying stupid things that anybody with sense would be flagging as trolling. But unfortunately those are the top comments with the most agrees on this site.
Although I disagree with a real gamer looking past criticism. A real gamer can criticism a game he likes and a real gamer can hear criticism without it putting him into a childish fit of rage.
Length and content has always been important to most people until the rumours started about The Order. Now all of sudden, people think it's fine. And it's obviously a console war thing.
I see people constantly blaming Xbox fanboys for the criticism that this game has received and that is what is really bothering them. They don't want this game to fail because they feel it will somehow hurt their little pride in the console they prefer.

This feature isn't really intended to record full matches of CoD and BF. Why would anyone want to record or watch a full match of one of those anyway?
If you want to record things like that and are using the built in DVR in either console, you're an edjit.
What does Xbox have to do with The Order?
Does that mean that Ryse was only scrutinized by PS fanboys then? This is the only exclusive that seems to be recieving hate and it's because it's said to be 5 hours long. Xbox has nothing to do with and you trying to blame Xbox fanboys just shows you off as a PS fanboy.
Coming in August. Is it common for "The Art of" books to release before the games? I was expecting Halo in November, would be awesome to see it moved up.
