Internet fanboys live in an insular bubble that does not effect the greater video game market.
I know this news may seem shocking to the users of sites like NeoGAF, GameFAQS, and 4chan, but it's true. Internet fanboys don't matter to the market at large. They only hurt the companies they love.
People said this about the PS3, people said this about the PSP. Several years later both are still around.
By ignoring it, having fun, and realizing that haters are going to hate.
Hateful fanboys are joyless. And the ones that spend all their time trolling or talking about sale figures will eventually drop out of the hobby. So their opinions are meaningless.
