Atleast I hope thats what they say when it comes out because i'm not paying another $150 for a slight upgrade or downgrade again.
Home only has "phone a friend" which you can only use in Home and right now it's only with one person. The invite system is only in Home also. I don't think everyone would want to start up home just to do these things.
They need to listen better to the consumer(PS blog does this somewhat) and not let a few people in some studio in japan to develop the console. My common sense comes from using Xbox Live for the past 2 years.
I guess sony would want you to think of it that way. I'm more interested in basic features PSN should have, in-game voice chat and a universal game invite system.

1. Home: I've beta tested it for months and find Folding@Home a better way to waste electricity. LOL Home's motto should be "you've played socom confrontation now here's this"
2. PSN support: Remeber how long it took to get in-game XMB and we still don't have in-game voice chat and a universal invite system. The PS store still only gets updated one day a week and even then content like demos for full games and small games.

I hope SONY will learn their lesson in the coming months that Home was a bad decision and shut it down. Then invest their time back into PSN and evolve it more.
I hope they do, NFS went down hill since most wanted and even then I would rather play Hot Pursuit 2.

And why would they be working on a new PSP, they have barely supported the first one.
This game is getting as much hype as LBP from SONY(maybe more). They even have a big front page ad on playstation.com to watch the spike tv awards. All I want is 2 player online co-op and a better experience than the first one(not saying it was bad).

Last time I checked is because Microsoft wanted to tell it's stock holders and PR guys that they can now say we have the cheapest(and useless) next gen console on the market(arcade version). But like many have said "if 30+ million people can buy a over priced PS2 then why lower the price when you can sell 2 million to any idiot in 1 month"(everybody knows this quote).

The Wii was outdated the day it was announced. For $130 bucks you can get better games and a better console, the PS2.
This brings up a few more PSN problems. Movies don't always have the rent feature(a lot actually).
Also the Video store gets update M-F unlike the Game store which only gets updated on THU. I think we all know why, they actually make money off of the Video store.
PS. I'm tired of the afternoon store updates, 2 years and they still don't update during the early morning.
