I just don't like Travis Scott's voice-over on these ads (I like his music though). Sony and Scott became "strategic partners" a few weeks ago, but that is just another fancy way of saying, "we will be using a famous artist to market and sell our console!" It feels too forced, and god knows how many millions Travis is getting for saying a few lines here and there. They should just keep it incognito, but I think someone at Sony thought of the idea to have Travis Sco...
It is maybe a 6/10. The graphics and city are definitely an 8! But the game itself gets repetitive after 10-15 hours, as it is the same type of missions but on a different location. The game lacks soul, and therefore it feels like another typical Ubisoft shell of a game.
Haha, that's cute. I was in an electronics shop the other day, and while I was waiting for my order I asked the clerk about the preorders for next-gen consoles. He said that they are getting preorders for the Xbox, but the PS5 is getting 3-4 times as many preorders. The clerk himself had preordered a PS5, and a customer was preordering a PS5 at the counter next to me. So there seems to be a big advantage for PS5.
Wait...what??
BPM...Black Playstations Matter!
The answer is simple...do not buy a next-gen console if the price is $70 for a game! This is the only language they will understand. I have been buying every new console for the past 25 years, including the expensive PS3. But if they raise the game prices then I will not be buying a new console in protest.
There are no new games announced that makes me want to get a next-gen console so badly. I swear, the Sackboy game is the only one that excites me. Black Spider-Man does ...
Haha, apparently!
How many Polacks does it take to make a game on time? Clearly, not enough...
They will be polishing their nuts...not the game! Anybody who falls for this crap needs to stop reading mainstream media...because you believe anything. This is only about releasing the game at a later date that coincides with the release of XS1 and PS5 to sell more copies of the game...nothing more. Instead of delivering a game in April, as they should have, then we all could have enjoyed the game during these crazy times when many are isolated at home. And they would have sold the game as h...
Screw you...I was gonna play it on PC. So why do we have to suffer? POM (PC Owners Matter)
I feel we should follow Sony when it comes to the delays correlating to the corona virus.Maybe this pandemic will last longer than we think. All other companies who have delayed variousm releases have set a new date, but Sony has not set new dates. Maybe they know something the rest don't so that is why they say it is indefinite.
Sony was the first company to pull out of a major event a few months ago. And people said that they were exaggerating...

Some men...just want to watch the world burn
Every company out there think they can make it on their own with their own streaming service. They really do think that since they own a few properties people will want to sign up for their service...and stupid people will. There is nothing at all that makes me want to get Disney+ or Amazon, or any other crappy streaming service. I like Netflix since they have their own shows and movies, and other studios shows and movies. Amazon keeps producing indie crap that would even bore a librarian, an...
How Google can try to break into the gaming industry without having at least 3 exclusives is beyond me. How the people in charge there get to keep their jobs is also mind boggling.
I hope that one of the older people sitting on the board, who for sure has no clue about the gaming industry and things like exclusives, has a young kid who tells them that the people in charge at office level are doing a crappy job!
Even more reason to delay the current gen version if they know that there won’t be an enhanced version for next-gen...why would you buy the next-gen version if you already played the previous gen one, and they have not enhanced anything on the new one? GTA made improvements, among them FPS, for the next-gen version, thus made it interesting for many to buy again. It will be hard to sell 2077 if they sold it now for PS4/Xbox, and then 6 months later a new console is coming which the game is no...
That is why I believe it is for the other reason. And of course you would delay it to coincide with the next-gen, if they released it today I would get it for the PS4, and would not care for it when PS5 is released. But releasing it closer to next-gen consoles would sell well both on the older systems, and the new ones. It is not like GTA V where it took over a year for the ”enhanced” version to come, we are talking about 5 months. So I would definitely delay the current gen versions so it i...
That’s how business works. I worked at a company a few years ago that did not pay out the workers requested overtime. We gave them a generic answer, “we have to take a closer look at the request before paying out”, we were deliberately delaying the payout. And us that were working with paying out these requests did not know why our boss was doing that...until the end of the year when we started paying them out all at once, and we realised that the boss just wanted better numbers for the curre...
It's all about money, nothing to do with polishing. If it needed to be delayed because of it not being finished, they would have known this several months ago and not 3 months before release. Either they are delaying so they can make an "enhanced" version for next-gen consoles. Or, they have been making money now on the Witcher games being sold, on account of the Netflix show.
Companies will do such things to push the revenue to a future fiscal quarter. CD kno...
I agree! I live in Sweden and our libraries usually have games, and the main library in the city has plenty of games. They get the latest games...but I have not borrowed any myself to be honest. I always walk by the game section when I am there for books, and I am glad that they offer games for Playstation, Xbox, and Switch.
I am a bit disappointed that Valhalla does not take advantage of these functions. I would have hoped that all games for the PS5 would come with some level of haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, but it seems that developers must add these functions. This perhaps could mean that some big games do not take full use of this, but I hope I am wrong.
