@LegoIsAwesome

Trying to make sense of your comments is a brutal task (and this is just how it is when you're talking to the intellectually-challenged), but here we go.

I'm not even sure what you're trying to say. Context taken into account, I assume you meant to say "Did I deny that the game had a revenge plot?" (otherwise, why bother replying?), thus denying that you ever denied the game having a revenge plot (which you did).

A revenge plot is about the pursuit of vengeance, not its definite attainment. So yes, it is a revenge plot.

Nor does a revenge plot necessarily feature a protagonist feeling no guilt about who they kill. They can even feel guilt or sadness about killing the very person they wanted revenge on. Kill Bill, for example.

Pro-tip: you should at least learn the very basics about a thing before you dare open your mouth or put fingers to keyboard to comment on sa...

@joejoejoe

I assume that was meant as a diss to me, which would be relevant if I had explained the joke. Seeing as I didn't, I'm forced to assume that you either responded to the wrong comment or you need to work on your reading comprehension skills. Just like @waverider, actually. Is this my N4G curse or something? It's not that difficult to make a reply at least somewhat relevant. Or, you know, to read.

To be fair, when I wrote that second c...

Anyone who needed a /s to see that this was tongue-in-cheek should be ashamed of themselves. Deeply, soul-crushingly ashamed of themselves.

also @waverider I think you replied to the wrong comment. If you did mean to write that as a response to my comment, work on your reading comprehension skills, because as a reply it makes no damn sense.

If it doesn't have ray-traced puddles, can we even really call it a next-gen game? or a game at all?

I misread that headline as "revealed to be 20 minutes long" and thought to myself that even then it'll probably still be released buggy and incomplete

Oddly enough, I originally typed and then removed the exact insult you chose in your comment!

As a game industry veteran who has worked on multiple titles including AAA which did not require crunch, I can tell you that

a) crunch is the result - and ONLY the result - of severe mismanagement, and
b) you're a spoiled little brat.

1989d ago 21 agree4 disagreeView comment

Sure, but that's not the point. You should have the option to buy it whenever.

What Sony were doing before - undoubtedly by design - was making players feel trapped in the PSNow/Plus system. If people were to start buying (cheaply) most the games they were previously paying monthly for, then that might undermine PSNow, making players feel that it's not worth the monthly cost.

I'm not sure they had that much to worry about there, but that may h...

It's sad to see how many people are commenting here with a "if you can own it temporarily for $0, why would you want to buy a copy you own permanently???" attitude.

Ignoring the fact that you're NOT getting it for $0 (you're paying for PSNow or PSPlus), it's incredibly simple to figure out that not everyone will finish the game during the time it's "free", or that people may want to revisit games in the future.

@Sitdown

No. VoiceMale is being downvoted because he claimed that Xbox is the best platform for online multiplayer and first-person shooters - better than the PC. If you ignore the fact that he ignored PC, then he's still making a dubious claim - online FPS games sell better on PS4 even when you control for the fact that there are around twice as many PS4 owners than Xbox One owners.

Citing this when making claims about what Micros...

Polygon, leader of the we-are-the-good-guys-and-every one-else-is-scum-to-be-dehuman ized brigade, and who see the world exclusively in black-and-white, would of course want to see games - and indeed storytelling at large - "return" to simplistic, babytime morality.

With "good", of course, being defined exclusively within their progressive-left, easily-offended socjus warrior parameters.

These guys would NOT like where they would fall ...

Exclusives are part of the competitive process via which we should all win. Basic economics.

The reason why people are getting so upset about this - why exclusivity and competition have become dirty words for many gamers - is because of Microsoft's ineptitude.

Brand A give you something exclusive, Brand B hits back with something amazing, Brand C hits you with something amazing, Brand A ups their game, Brand B ups their game, Brand C ups their game, ...

@FunAndGun
as much as I resent Microsoft charging for Xbox Live, the onus was on the consumers to not pay for online if they were that opposed to it. A lot of people complaining about it paid for it anyway. Hell, it's one of the only reasons Xbox was a hit, and perhaps the only reason Xbox still exists as a brand today.

Technically, everyone who chose to pay for online from any of these companies set the precedent. No one would have followed Microsoft's pat...

No. Competition is good for everyone. In every instance. When these companies compete with each other they have the biggest incentive to improve in every department.

This is extremely, breathtakingly basic economics.

The only gamers who lose in this scenario are the very small minority who only own an Xbox One and not a PS4. And if after all these years they continued to invest solely in the more expensive, weaker product, ignoring the...

Though I'm usually heavily averse to grind, Persona 4 is in my top 5 of all time, possibly at 1. But tbh I think what helped is that I had the Vita version and I played it a lot while commuting, and RPG grinding on a train/bus feels less offensive than grinding when I'm at home. I felt that when I got burned out on Persona 5 a little, despite the gameplay being better/smoother and the grind not being so egregious.

Still, the difficulty options (which boost loot and ...
