For the love of god... have the people complaining about Assassin's Creed's yearly release played any of the Ac games?
If you played them you know that they have been releasing one every year in order to match the 2012 story-line that they had created.
"In Assassin's Creed we set up a timeline with this whole end of the world plot in December 2012... That's fast approaching, and t...
good score..
very excited for tuesday
Hell, I say it will be a fresh experience for both new players and fans alike.
This game seems to be abandoning some of the things AC is known for, but in exchange bringing fresh new elements.
Very excited for Monday when we hear more
Lol... honestly even though I was stoked yesterday about AC3's new setting and protagonist... I bet Ubi is pissed the hell of.
I mean, they wanted to go ahead and surprise the fans today with the box art they unveiled..
But that all got ruined because some jerk working at best buy took a picture of the promotional material and sent them to Kotaku,OXGN and other places .
Considering they wanted AC3 to be its biggest launch ever... I would u...
well look at the box art.... the redcoats are on one side.. and the americans are on the other.
And the Assassin is in the middle
So yes... you are in the middle
:D
@ dailylynch
Whatever... the first part of my statement was a joke, but if we want to get serious... yes he is killing and maybe even going to scalp a redcoat.
But Native Americans were not very kind to both the brits or the Amer...
No offense... but Im getting annoyed with people complaining "oh what about this time period" "why the revolution?"
Because IF YOU FOLLOWED THE STORY (once again sorry, because you are not the only one doing it) I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH.
AT THE END OF REVELATIONS... DESMOND ARRIVES IN NEW YORK... WHICH IS WHY ON SENSE OF STORY... THE GAME TAKES PLACE DURING THE REVOLUTION...BECAUSE IT IS IN AMERICA!
Sure I get it, a lo...
I think it could work really well if it follows this idea I keep having about the new setting.
With the previous AC games, stealth was kind of hit or miss. Sometimes you lacked that feeling like a game like Batman Arkham Asylum had, as you felt powerful stalking your enemies.
But with the new setting, their are no buildings to hide behind, and Ubi released a barren snowy landscape yesterday as a teser.
And now that we have confirmation that ...

Really to what? A spiky haired pretty boy?
It does not matter what the character looks like. It matters on how they make you feel. How emotionally attached you are to them..
You like Heavy Rain... Ethan Mars is not the most attractive male in the world, but you cared about him and his story and thats what counts.
yes.... now I can finally pre order it
Really?
Have you been following the story? At the end of Revelations Desmond arrives in New York. Which makes America the most logical location in terms of story.
They have had this story mapped out, and this game has been in development for 3 years.
Lets wait a bit, and see what they have here. Screenshots, gameplay.
After all.. they have released 3 games in a row that felt very similar. This can be a refreshing change.
Doubt it... main character is Native American... expect scalping of both the brits and the Americans.
Also if you read the comics and did some of the puzzles in AC2..you see that America is heavily controlled by the Templars. Hell in Ac:The fall, they went as far as to call George Bush a "Templar Puppet"
Really excited... considering that they will reveal more tomorrow and on Monday
Or.. maybe the free masons and all that other good stuff.
If you played AC2 one of subject 16's glyphs hinted that George Washington was a Templar whom controlled a Piece of Eden.
Also.. in the Assassins Creed: The fall comic, they stated that George Bush was a mere Templar puppet, whom had won due to a fixed voting campaign.
After all Ubi is based in Canada, France, Singapore and Britain.... not sure if they are in the US
I remember when this rumour came up on N4G...
I am wondering how this new assassin will tie with and conclude Desmonds story.
Also.. I do not know much about American history( canadian eh) but wasn't America mostly land with smaller colonies back then?
Wonder how the free-run mechanic will be affected.
Also wonder if there will be any combat changes.
This is one of my most anticipated (look at my avatar) ...
GIANT ENEMY BRITISHMAN!
sigh... more DLC with a peripheral...
this sh*t has hit a level beyond ridiculous
Next thing I know... ME3 t-shirts will come with dlc -_-
So by pre ordering a game... I get the chance to kill Hitler.
I hate pre order bonuses... but killing Hitler... hmm, Im conflicted
Yeah I know right... I love collecting model airplanes..
No he insults the western exclusives... but the stuff made by sony japan (Last Guardian, GT5) he praises
I have never met a fanboy for a country... I just flag him and move on

Sure, I may not like most JRPG's simpily because it is not my thing. I have tried a few, and the only one I really liked was TWEWY.
If thats what you are into I respect that, but it is not my thing.
But you don't see me go to every JRPG related article and troll JRPGS.
Unlike you, whom for whatever reason likes to bring up Naughty Dog into every article here.
Mate... get a life.
Ok I get it... sure people are pissed of at EA and Bioware for the first day DLC and all the other DLC nonsense.
But for the love of god, most of it is not needed. I mean really is that new team member going to do anything for you?
Probably be like Kasumi or Zaeed where you do a loyalty mission, but after that have no interaction with them.
EA's practices are questionable.. hell they are down right dirty, but no one can deny that Mass Ef...
