Not disagreeing with you, in most cases the mutliplatform games will have more *lifetime* sales AND/OR have bigger income from consoles.
BUT i would not use Witcher 3 as an example of that. After all it did sell the most with 12 million copies sold and PS4 sold 11 million. Sure if you put all of the console versions together, and yea, consoles sales trumps that of the PC. But again that is not a fair comparison.

There are so many multiplatform franchises that either have strong roots on PC (like Diablo, Witcher etc) or on consoles (like Final Fantasy,MGS etc) and as such these versions of those games will receive more attention from the developers, since (in most cases) most of the fanbase is on those specifi...

There is still a fair ammount of people that do as much of waiting on console side of things, and this aint pre-2012 era we are living, you can find the same or close-to-same sales on consoles so that has little to do with 2019 higher PC sales.

Just to save everyone 30 seconds of their time, it's just a white-black render of a tower box that is similar to XBoxSX, something that is highly unlikely (thankfully).
All i see that they have similar overall shape that is all. The button placement, analog sticks placement, touch pad, ''share'' button, haptic feedback... etc almost everything aside from the overall shape is different.

Ofc it's working, look around the internet. Twitter, N4G, Reddit, YouTube etc all of those full of BS like this and shockingly enough i saw people that i actually know to be smart people, and active PC/console gamers, buying into this shit or are simply starting to doubt SONY-s HW decisions.
Granted, people will make all sort of spins on SONY-s silence, even tho they well know their focus is still on current gen but still you have to admit SONY-s PR is not their stronge...

Microsoft as a whole doesn't need an Xbox to be successful same as Sony. Both have different and sucessfull bussiness divisions, especially Microsoft.
