Yeah, I loved borderlands, but after ACM I can't really spend more money on their products. Not only did they put out an awful product, but then they have abandoned the console versions, put out lackluster season pass content and just kinda pretended the game didn't exist.
I love the series, and SF looks amazing, but I really hope they have some kind of dedicated co-op. I feel like that has been a huge omission from the PS3 titles.
If this is the project that was being made by free radical, it was cancelled because FR were initially funneling the money from Lucasarts into Haze, and when Haze tanked they were not only behind schedule but they had spent the money. At a certain point Lucasarts decided to shut it all down because they didn't hit any development milestones.

To be fair, Resident Evil was pretty universally panned. I only played the demo, but it just felt awkward. I loved DMC though, which is not a popular thing to say.
This and Out of this World changed gaming. Nice to see it coming back.
Yeah I completely agree. You can tell a lot of games are just rushed through and a cursory score is given out. I think most reviews miss a lot of the nuances in the current generation of games, because there is just so much product out there and there is a lot of pressure to bang out review in a timely fashion.
Loved it, and I don't think making a polarizing product is a bad thing. In fact, in a relaunch if you really are trying to do something fresh it will upset people. That said I dig the entire series.

Yeah, this late in the generation people seem to have lost their minds. I agree there is a LOT of good product out, but each game should still be judged on its own merit, and GOWA is mind-melting.

Man, seriously. This game is incredible. If you told me it was PS4,graphics-wise, I would believe it. SSM is a victim of their own high bar. You put this out on any other console and it is GOTY nominee.
This is a pretty honest take on your own product. Franchise fatigue has become a problem. I love this gen, but I am looking forward to the next level of creativity and interactivity.

Big ups for mentioning the Dark Horse comic series from the early 90's; it was amazing. I do feel fps is a great way to experience Aliens if done right, but It just doesn't mean you have to always have a finger on the trigger. Less shooting, more world creation and exploration.
