I wouldn't be surprised it sold more than PS5 or Switch if they were out of stock, but I doubt it sold more than Series S and Call of Duty, which Exputer means it did, based on absolutely nothing.
You say, who's thinking about 2021, and still mention a game I Platinumed 6 years ago (Ys8), that offers next to nothing new in the PS5-version, barely a graphic update.
But I agree, I'm done with Ragnarök, Star Ocean and Ys8 thou, but still have a few more hours to put in Tactics Ogre.
Then Callisto Protocol but mainly Crisis Core.
So people say the Xbox controlles have been the best since X360, and they had all the big multiplattform games, and still losing gen after gen to Nintendo and Playstation who have specifications below Xbox and worse controllers (according to some fanboys).
You don't think the exclusives might be the reason for that?

I would've been disappointed if it was the exact same game with just better graphics and voiceacting.
There might be other ways, we don't know until the trilogy has reached it's end.

I watch everything Digital Foundry puts out, but Demon's Souls video was out over a year ahead of Forbidden West.
The only thing they downtalked regarding Forbidden West was patched, and even they said that the PS5-version actually looks and acts current gen.
Forbidden West, Last of us Part 1, Ragnarök, Ratchet & Clank to name a few, all looks better than Demon's Souls.
Comparing Elden Ring, most games released on PS5 looked better visually.
It's not like a typical zombie game, and just by saying that, I doubt you've played it more than 2 hours.

From what I've read in the different reports, sales are counting Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, not including the Sunday.
However, I don't know. Might be 5 days, but most of the sources I've seen says 4 days.

But I for sure prefer Playstation due to the exclusives.
Back on X360/PS3, X360 was my preferred console the first 4-5 years.
However I buy all the consoles so I won't miss out on any gems.
