hehe yeah, still theres only so many man hours they can devote to development and concentrating too much on one aspect might have negative connotations toward another.
Isn't gameplay what makes Halo games great? Maybe i'm just worrying too much (since ODST) but all this talk of graphics and animation improvements might have distracted Bungie from this fact... Nah? Right??
Sony are really jumping on 3D, where is MS on all of this? Do they even have plans to make games 3d in the future, or maybe only if it's successful?
Do you really think MS will come through on hardware? They may drop the price but I doubt it'll be any more reliant.
It would be a good move for PR as MS seems to be deserting its hardcore following in aim of taking Wii's success by force and what better way to do it than pretending that it's a completely new console? Sounds like MS PR to me.
Either way a price drop is good news in any sense. Means you waste less money when it RRODs.
"pew pew pew" lmao!
Does anyone else picture the writer of this crying as they typed?
The author of this fails hard!
"Developing a HD game isn’t cheap and costs are bound to soar even more when developers start creating games in the 3rd dimension. Furthermore, development times will most likely be increased, which wouldn’t benefit us at all in the long run."
Implementing 3D into games is apparently very easy and cheap, take Batman:AA's GOTY edition for example. It just wouldn't of happened if it was such a burden to achieve

Uhoh i smell server problems. Don't let us down EA/Bioware we've been waiting a long time for this.
Yeah get over here and give us some BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Ow!
Sorry, it just actually physically hurt me to look at the xbox version.
LMAO!
Is it just me or does the slightly venomous way this article is worded make Kotaku seem like they didn't find this ad funny?
Edit: Just noticed the pick of Jack Tretton on the TV stand lol!
Sony seems to have had a crystal ball back in 2006, all the standard tech in the PS3 has paid off in the long run just like they planned. Its almost scary.
Edit: Ah, now I see it was Kevin Butlers time travelling shenanigans that tipped them off.
Just submitted a suggestion to be able to organize friends list into customizable categories :)
Should be up soon if they approve it, go search it out and vote it up or down, cheers.
Most of my ideas were the obvious ones: cross game chat, context sensitive ps button, glad loads of other people feel the same way.
Edit: Oh almost forgot... I noticed a suggestion to make MKV files playable on PS3, whether you know why this would be awesome or not, I urge y...
I know what you mean, there's just no need, it might hurt some peoples feelings.

My guess is that the PS3 slim models influence on the market has only recently begun to take effect. As more games are developed with PS3 as lead SKU, negating any possible lazy port, it's possible we will see more sales on Sonys machine i.e FFXIII.
Maybe.
Edit: Also, what he said :P ^
This is a duplicate article but i'm glad because the fanboys ganged up and report spammed the last one into the ground!
I myself am glad to hear that competition is rife and the fact that the consoles have an almost neck and neck install base can only mean good things for gamers.
The 'PS' in this version stands for posh spice. After you play a game it regurgitates your bluray.
A lot of people didn't want to hear this, I wonder just how accurate that math is though?
I have witnessed (as an owner) the PS3 struggling with sales for a long time now, I don't really care which console has the most but the news that they are now pretty much neck and neck would be great for gaming. Two balanced, competing (not necessarily) communities creates an excellent environment to breed fantastic innovation and developer competition. I know its become a bit of a cliche...
You're right but the real question is will they raise the bar for Halo games or for all games? The former is not really an ambitous statement.
