Exactly, they can take a hit on the hardware as they make money on the back end, by getting this box in your home think of how much you spend on PSN/Xbox Live, games, currency etc etc thats profit, and with Xbox live especially as thats piggy backing of already existing architecture, so they get paid double for that with servers space and such
I own both consoles so have no fan boy fave here, standard disclaimer... lol
But I agree, the PS4 has caused MS to make so many changes for the better this Gen, it's been great. Same with Xbox live helping along with changes on PSN.
This is why competition is key and it shows these people wanting a one console generation what would happen.
