1800p with checkerboarding. Not bad considering the slower GPU and 4gb of less ram
To be honest I'd take 4k checkerboarding on every Xbox One X and crank the graphics up as high as possible. Resolution has ruined this gen

It's $100 cheaper for a reason. Stop acting like it's a system on a level with the X because it's clearly not. I love my Pro but they way you people defend your console is sickening. The cooling system In the X alone is half that $100, then the UHD drive that nobody supposedly uses but stores sell them and production companies release them and then let's talk about that GPU.

I have never understood this "Get a PC" garbage. Is someone not allowed to like console gaming on the other console? Exclusives are fair enough but on my Pro I've gone with Horizon, Uncharted and I'll grab the new Spiderman. That's all that interests me, similar with Xbox I have GoW, Forza and I'll grab PUBG and that's all that interest me. My main games are multi plat games. I don't want a PC that's going to cost more than the X to get the same performan...
If they have nailed native 4k I'll be very very impressed. I'd have been impressed at anything over 1440 native to be honest. Looks like these guys really got to grips with the Pro
@Carmelo.... At least read your own articles you spent a while digging up. What that article tells us that Xbox One X so far has 51 Native 4k games and 12 checkerboarding. And your problem is what exactly?
Nobody ever promised 4K60, Not one person apart from N4G trolls. What was said is that X can do 4k and thats what they want devs to aim for but they wont enforce what they do and how they use that extra power. The only thing MS mentioned as 4K60 was Forza 7... Which is exactly that
While the lighting in this video seems better on GT Sport, we wont know until they have the same weather in a race which may be tricky to get. The main takeaway for me from this video os other than 4k60 on Forza look at how much more the car reacts to the road on Forza. Many more bumps making the car move. the spoiler on the back of the car is flexing ever so slightly, track detail also as you have scrapes and such in teh asphalt on Forza. In car is hands down Forza. This isnt a slant on GT ...
Do people just look for things to moan about on here? Wouldnt it be obvious that games with more detailed texture packs and so on would be larger installs? Where do you think this extra data goes?
I could say the same about the PS4 because i had to base PS4 units that the bluray drives crapped out on. That didnt stop me buying a Pro and missing out on games i couldnt play on Xbox

I'm pretty sure you are going to see released from Sony and Microsoft at different stages now. The power competition will alternate each 3 or so years with these mid range refreshes. I honestly think this is the beginning of a new way of releasing hardware. No more fixed units every 6-8 years.
I agree, 4k is still in it's infancy and won't be wide spread for another 4-5 years in my opinion. Higher fidelity graphics, AI and physics are the next step. Next gen won't be about resolution.

Lol whut? Its a SD 808.... Its not streaming games in 4k at 60fps, it runs super hot running games on that 2k screen it has..... I think you're getting confused with the camera being able to record in 4k @ 30fps or 1080P@60fps

I thought it would be quite obvious as to why the no longer sell the original x1. First they no longer manufacture the non Bluetooth controller. Second they no longer purchase non blue ray drives. Third they managed to make a smaller version at a lower price cost with UHD and slightly bumped could speeds.
