The game wasn't finished Phil, its not optimised, unfinished animations, pop-ups and graphical glitches everywhere, ultra basic ai, completely unbalanced loot, etc. The game needed 9 months to a year extra development time and play testing... also give the NPC's a bit of life and character, it makes the game far more interesting if the player cares about why and what they are doing.
So according to Stevivors review scores this game is as good as Bloodborne, which they also gave a 7.5... !?!
When a company gets so big that it can use it's influence through wealth to threaten a country and demand to speak to it's head of state to get a games deal done, that company is too big and needs to be broken up.
MS gave up on making games mid way through the 360s life, now the main focus is on not expanding their games library but shrinking libraries of competitors by buying up and removing access to multiplatform publishers.
Has someone figured out how to block downvote or do they log in with multiple accounts?... I mean that happened fast!
"Well, that´s NOT what CMA´s decision was about, was it?"
...now you're talking in circles. You said I don't want MS making third party titles exclusive, I agreed now you're on about the CMA again.
'I told you, dude. You can´t fool me no matter how hard you try. It´s easy for me to see trough people like you. But hey, if you want me to refer and call you "unbiased gamer", I can play that game as well...
Now what? Gamers get to keep their access to a multiplatform publisher, until the next time MS tries to take away peoples access. MS won't stop, they stopped making games mid way through the 360 era, now they are all about taking games.
"Just have some dignity and admit that your only concern lies on whether third party games will become Xbox exclusive IPs in the process or not."
...isn't this what it's all about, MS buying up the multiplatform industry and not making any games... I thought I made it very clear that MS making multiplatform publishers exclusive is bad, your daily glazing has made you a bit slow to come to realisation.
"Healthy? Have you ever realize...
Oh you poor little sweet child.
"CMA´s monopoly concerns lies entirely on the Cloud Gaming market space, and NOT on your "Oh... Microsoft is taking multiplatform games off the competition" fake concerned narrative bs!"
...and what are causing these concerns, is it the Activision deal? ...oh so it's exactly what I'm talking about.
"The merger poses no threats for the console market, so the eggs is on...
"UK´s regulator authority must be feeling pretty dumb."
Not as dumb as we all feel after being exposed to your comments, it's like a degenerative condition. Just because you get off on MS buying up and banning competition from multiplatform titles doesn't mean we all should. CMA is doing it's job for once, bad news for you, good news for gamers and the industry.
gameranx completely misunderstands market consolidation and the power of IP hoarding.
"what a load of rubbish"
Not really, as it's happening now as a result of subscription services... also your examples completely miss the point, maybe you need to stop glazing MS so hard so you can see better.
Do you know why these companies like MS are chasing subscription services? They get to cut out the people that make the products from derivatives and royalties, just like Disney and other streaming services have been doing, more profit for CEOs and shareholders. MS buying up the multiplatform industry truly has no positives for workers or gamers, only CEOs and shareholders.
Hey Microsoft, why not make games to grow your library and user base instead of taking away multiplatform publishers from competitors? This way you can complete without the need for shrinking competitors gaming libraries or threatening countries that block you from buying up an industry!
I still think this deal will happen as a handful of ludicrously rich individuals are set to get even richer and a greedy MS wants total control of the biggest multiplatform IPs, these two g...
Chill out Orchard, your dreams of gamers losing access to multiplatform games might still happen elsewhere... just not today, today gamers get the win against the anti-competitive activities of Microsoft!
Thank you CMA for standing up for the consumer and the gaming industry for once.
I hope they fail and the Activision deal collapses because if so this is a massive win for gaming and gamers, actual consumer protections and anti-competitive practices being used for once!!! I never thought I'd see the day.
I'm shocked, this is one of the few times I can remember anyone standing against Microsofts anti-competitive activities... could this be a win for gamers against the cancer that is Microsoft?!?
Or you could stay away from games that are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to mature for your little head to handle then everyone's happy, no you and good games!
Oops, someone didn't read my comment, you just ranted over something that happened in your own head.
Look kid I have no interest in brand glazing like you, if MS had spent billions on making games instead of taking games I would be cheering them on. One day when you're older and leave school to enter the real world you'll see that your favourite brand isn't your friend and all those paragraphs of defense you type daily is for nothing. Support gaming not bran...
But you're not trying to "out-console" them Phil, your entire strategy has not been to grow xbox through new ip's and games but to shrink the multiplatform publisher libraries of your competition through buyouts.
I can't wait to see what MS has in store for if the Activision is dead, more multiplatform buyouts and IP hoarding I expect.
