No the issue comes from the article as well, also I use work with people that deal with the fallout of these events so I may be a bit more sensitive to these sort of articles.

Yes lets take the reality of the suffering of millions of people and compare it to a computer game.

where have all the threats gone Anonymous? Now its time to take responsibility for your actions, even if you weren't directly responsible you made the PSN a target.

Also I could be wrong, wasnt there a Anonymous calling card found in the hacked networks?

That was kind of the point. The analogies where meant to be stupid, fickle, dumb

Does N4G have to Rethink about who submits articles?

Lets work on this tools logic

If you car breaks down do you have to rethink about ever driving again?
If your on holiday for two weeks do you have to rethink about ever returning home again?
If your ill for two weeks do you need to rethink your entire life as you'll never be well again?
If anything takes over two weeks to fix then its beyond repair and should be abandoned

All my games are story driven so yes single player for me. Online has no real depth to keep me interested for long.

So kiddies what have we learnt form whats happened to Sony?

Always let the hackers win, as no online system is 100% safe and if you stand up to them you will be a target not only to hackers but to so called organisations that stand for consumer rights.
Offer no online anything, if you do you stand to lose the details of your customers and will be sued by every moron on earth.
Do not create anything that will intrest the media as they have only one focus, thats...

As online security gets stronger so does the abilities of the hackers.

Plus it didnt help that George and Anonymous painted a huge red target on Sony.

It was an observation. I agree you lose if you side yourself with a brand, all platforms have there plus points.
