Looks good, reminds me of dead space except with maybe a bigger feeling of helplessness.
Survivor-Horror is a niche that hasn't been filled since Dead Space 1/2. Hopefully we'll get another game here to help fill the void.
It's a good IP unfortunately execution has been lacking. Not sure how creative assembly, a studio who primarily created strategy games is going to do a survival horror game but we'll see.
Who the hell buys battlefield 4 and then stops playing it after the single player?

I mean would anyone be surprised if Sony was selling their console at a big loss?
I don't think there will be a next gen of TLOU but I was kinda hoping for a GTA:V one. - I don't think it matters whether or not your copy is a digital one.
I hope I can upgrade for 10 bucks.
I don't own BF on the console, I do own it on the PC and it is by far the best shooter available in the market.
Since shooters are the type of game that typically sell large quantities of units I would not do what you suggest. Until Call of Duty can match Battlefield (in prior iterations Dice was limited by hardware; bum graphics 30fps limited destruction/player count) I'd keep shoving iterations down people's throat. It's a better product plain and simple; j...
No where did they say Mass Effect 3 was the end of the franchise. They only ever said it was the end of the trilogy, and that other games would be told in the universe.
So the writer either didn't research or decided to fabricate a story about a popular franchise.

Call of Duty Ghosts was insulting.
That's just one aspect of IP. What you are referring to is trademark which is as some of the other people said not the entire story.
Of course you are? Last generation it was decided that exclusive intellectual property was what determines what the first console a gamer will pick up.
Pretty sure Microsoft and Nintendo have the same logic. The only problem is that nintendo rely's too heavily on that idea.
The article only mentions two new IPs - the rest are multiplatform.. Your dedication is overwhelming.
What sucks is that this is a really good game.
Best shooter in the market right now by far.
Think it's a coincidence that square enix was complaining about the sales of tomb raider and they just happen to be releasing a "definitive edition" on the next gen?
this comment reminds me of that south park episode with the mormons.
"dumdumdum"
good stuff!
100,000? That's alot, didn't think there were that many PCs in the world that could play it.
This article made no sense to me at all. Like I read it...It's a good thesis...but then nothing else.
AC4 was WAY better than I anticipated. I gamefly'd it and my god was I blown away by how good it was compared to its predecessor.
I loved Socom and Socom 2 and even Socom 3; but that was because it provided something that wasn't existing in the market at the time. Online-competitive gaming.
Fast-forward to 2013: This type of gameplay is clumsy, latency is also seemingly an issue. Would it change if we get a locked in at 60FPS high performance oriented version of Socom...maybe. But I still think there is a lot to say about the clumsiness of the "Third-Person Tactical Shooter" when stacked ...
MGS2 holds up even today man.
