Pretty sure this was a feature in earlier BFs. Maybe BF4?...
Well, it’s either this or Nintendo just makes games loaded with battle passes. I know which I prefer.
yup. As is tradition.
Agree, this is a stupid marketing campaign. They should save the money for the development.
Agree. Was actually one of the few games where I looked forward to additional DLC Story content; and they canned it- ridiculous.
Honestly, after playing Cyberpunk, which came out 4 years ago, you really cannot go back to that engine. The games in terms of genre are similar, and one looks and plays like it came out 15 years ago, not four years after this clearly superior game. It's a bit crazy they are even contemplating it.
a license is freely revocable.
I'll let you in on a secret- even if you owned the physical copy of a disc. You only own a license.
I don't know what a game from 2016 plays like, but this one is going to do well.
and some corporate heads will determine that the problem is AAA games - and not the allocation of resources to making -fun- games. So, we'll get more crappy live service games- more micro transaction games, more mobile games; and less well- good fun games. That depresses me.
It's a moba, and third person - not first person.
This game is going to bomb because of how expectations set by BG3.
I interpret it as - they want to be multiplatform, as they will sell more copies.
not exactly like the studios were putting out good games anyway. Industry needs to restart from the ground up; if games like battlebit or manor lords can be made by teams with 10 people - then there's something fundamentally wrong with having 500 man teams put out glitchy overmonetized crap.
Don't forget Sony. They accounted for 20% of AMDs total revenue in 2021.
I think you're going to see almost zero interest from AMD or Nvidia on the gaming GPU market. They are all in on AI.
Lisa Su took AMD from bankruptcy to one of the best semiconductor companies on the planet. AMD from 2 dollars a share to 147. She can take whatever she wants.
I appreciate your rant sir, but it has very little to do with gpus. It is the fact that the PS5 and Xbox are in end cycle before a refresh.
tech is different because they buy threats and then kill them. Twitter bought Vine and did nothing with it. Despite people seemingly liking it. Could've had tiktok a decade before bytedance. go figure.
Things are cut all the time for all sorts of reasons. It's called editing.
