Certainly anyone with enough disposable income to own God of War, Assassin's Creed Origins, and 'etc'
As you would expect for all games, if you could see the wood for the trees.
Why should you pay Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo to access multiplayer on something like Rocket League?
F2P is just a different model of monetization. It doesn't change anything about the value of multiplayer services (or whatever it is MS/Sony claim our mandatory multiplayer subscriptions are actually paying for).
This is Activision. The tech will be deemed ready when they find a way to charge $90+ for their annual Call of Duty release.
It doesn't tie your hands at all. You can cancel and resume a subscription whenever you want. You can go and play PSNow games for 1, 2 ,28 months, and come right back to game pass whenever you like.
More importantly though, if people keep misusing the word 'literally' I fear we will lose it forever. Don't do it again.
Why would not owning any games tie you to the platform? That is totally backwards.
And just how many feature at least one NPC named 'Alan'?
That is some acute business acumen. I'm certain Fortnite and Rocket League would be 5x as successful with a $60 price tag, and you at the helm.
That's a misguided plea.
No games should have multiplayer locked behind Plus or Gold. The way the game is monetised makes no difference to that what-so-ever. It is ridiculous when the same games on the same servers are available on PC without the subscription. Moving F2P to the right side of the paywall would be one less kick in the balls, but they'd still be kicking you in the balls.
Sony have F2P games on the right side of the wall, but it shoul...
The games are all up for a month, the releases are just staggered.
-The games released on the 1st are available until the last day of the month
-The games released on the 2nd half will remain until the 2nd half of next month.
If you check once a month you can pick up all 4 games no problem.
They just stagger the releases to pad them out a bit so that it feels you are getting free stuff more often. As most people can't play 4 games simultaneous...
Remember how outspoken he has been against the Windows store and UWP as a platform for gaming?
Todd Howard is a pretty cool guy. He stands up for consumers and he doesn't afraid of anything.
You shouldn't need Gold or Plus to play games online in the first place, least of all 3rd party games. The way a given game is monetised doesn't change that. You can play the same games on PC, often literally on the same servers, without the subscription. Console gamers should be complaining in unison.
The free to play model benefits (ie makes more money) from reducing barriers to entry. Sony letting F2P games through without the sub is a commercial decision to max...
Those plus vignetting, chromatic aberration, and film grain.
Lots of people under-estimate the nutritional value of a disc. Physical ftw.
If you've got access to PC VR then get that version. The game is a poster child for the advantages of modding.
All games on PSNow stream at 720p at best. That's what Sony say, and Digital Foundry back it up.
Honestly for me the stereo sound is the real killer. They need to at least offer a virtual surround stream for headphones if discrete channels are a problem.
Flawless 720p with stereo sound 🤨
Even with perfect internet, the best PSNow offers is compressed 720p with stereo sound.
Sony are front-runners on game streaming in one respect, but at the some time they're well behind the pack. They really need to step up several gears before the competition arrives.

Fun fact: Bungie didn't want to call it Combat Evolved. That part of the name was forced on them by Microsoft, purely for marketing as they thought people "wouldn't get" the name otherwise.
Those casual players that don't understand or care are the reason this matters for this casual game. Bethesda don't want someone to fire up the game on their iPhone and have to deal with complications.
"Do you want your matchmaking and account progression be limited to the Playstation matchmaking pool, or the Xbox/Nintendo pool?*
