You have to with Bond though, like Doctor Who because they've been going on for years, 50 years nearly for both of them and the main actors want to do new things or end up getting too old. David Hayter didn't want to go anywhere.
You can't just forget about the things he's just done because how respected he is, he's f***** big time here, he's screwed fans and hayter over.
I mean if ND, Rockstar, Valve did something wrong then I would like to think people would be vocal aswell about it.
Yeah totally agree he did it to worm his way into Hollywood.
Why didn't he just become a film director instead, you could start to see by MGS4 that being more involved with film was a focus from him. ND like to bring us film like stories in their games but they don't over do it.
I don't understand what EA get out of this, Activision I would understand but EA.

What right have you got to tell people to "get over it" when we've been used to the character for 15 YEARS.
It's not just a thing to "get over" especially considering how disrespectful he's been towards Hayter on this and how Kojima has handled the situation.

I feel so sorry for him, like really sorry for him
I keep putting myself in his shoes, you take on some work on a game, it ends up being a cult classic much loved video game, you then become the main voice and character of that game for 15 years, you take that and cherish it because despite not being a big named actor like Kiefer you still have something in your life you can be proud of...then it's ripped away from you for a Hollywood actor like him who has it all already...
Big Boss is Richard Doyle though, he did a fantastic job in MGS4

David Hayter is an actor you know aswell, I mean what would being "more known" of done for this game. He has every right to be upset, if the Japanese voice actor was leaving then I guess he would understand the choice or even getting replaced by Richard Doyle but a Hollywood actor who probably isn't even a gamer and I'm guessing will be the last main MGS numbered title for a while since the story arc is over with.

Whats the point of a new vision for MGS by changing the voice actors.....OH BUT NOOOOO he keeps the Japanese actor, don't you find that a little odd and harsh on hayter. Why do they get rid of the English voice actor every english speaking person loved but Japanese fans get to keep the one they love.

I just want to see it released, I'm sick of Lightning being shoved down our throats when the character is horrible. I feel she's only popular with mostly female gamers because they see her as a "strong", pretty female character.
We need Noctis to shine, he better have some great character development. Like Squalls off FF8, his development through the entire game was amazing to watch
I really want to see GTA4 knocked off the top of the list though, it's that one game you look at on the list and think
"You don't belong there"
I mean 98, it's at least a solid 90.
But where coming onto the last game, I mean this is a prequel which is pushing it but after this game with the story arc closed after MGS4 where else is there left to go. You would need to reboot it or do an alternative timeline or something so really I don't see why they didn't use Hayter one last time
