There are a fair few on the market, but I don't think a lot can compete with GTA, especially if we look at it from the San Andreas era.
inFAMOUS
Prototype
Fable
Red Dead Redemption (did extremely well, but R* game)
Assassins Creed
The major competitor would be Skyrim, but since they seem to be every 5 years...
I agree the game does look interesting, the graphics aren't nothing to get excited about though, especially coming off "The Last Of Us". Which makes me wonder whether they released this to gain some of the current post apocalyptic hype. Nothing bad about it, good marketing actually, but just curious.
yes lol! Love it!
I think it may be set in washington. Its deffo america because the ripped banner on the street towards the end says america, but the sign on the lampost on the right shows what looks to be The Washington State Capitol building in Olympia. The banners on the final street could well be voting for congress? so this happened after an election.

2:10 banner on the left hanging from a lampost arm. (america)

it does matter. I own it on PS3 and i'm sick of it constantly freezing on me, it means I have a limited play time before having to switch of and wait for a while. So its unacceptable really, especially if it can't be fixed. Games should not be shipped like that, they wasn't on older gens, so why now. Patches can't fix everything.
maybe they're about to having a new ps3 boot up intro with flashing lights and explosions. lol
just like a packet of nuts contains the warning 'may contain nuts'
most requested is cross game chat, although we'll never get it this GEN with the PS3.
yeah, it seems to happen more frequent with the update. I haven't put it back on since it froze though.
just read your post, sounds good.
why did I get a disagree for telling people about my experience with the freeze? tut tut people
my game completely froze earlier when in combat against 3 enemies using magic. This was 2 hours in after the update and I had been experiencing some lag 30 mins prior.
in the EU it came with a demo and to be honest that wasn't that impressive. The games were ok, just annoyed me that it was a demo.
I've brought all the move accessories including the sharpshooter. I love the concept, I know its basically a better version of a wiimote but the fact that I don't constantly have to use it works for me. I agree that more games need incorporate move, especially 3rd party games. This is where its lacking, 3rd party support!
I suppose its personal preference. Modern warfare 3 was the last COD i'm buying until the series goes through a drastic change and is worth another £40+. The only has slightly changed and they're good changes, but the campaign offered nothing new, I felt. The best part about it was the ending with the juggernaut suits. But yeah, mediocre game, enjoyed uncharted 3 and skyrim (especially skyrim) far more and they've taken up my time since.
lol that is true love
I sold mine as the ebony sword was better
lmaoooooo I love that ghost!
I got mine a today through the post (UK), the game is amazing and completely worth the wait. Bye bye COD, hello Skyrim.
firstly @aPerson, I brought the game expecting a difference only to find out there isn't much of one, campaign wise.
@ambientFLIER, Can I not have an opinion instead of you insulting me because i've said something negative about your precious game? Behave yourself lad. Sequels may reuse etc, but not that blatantly and they really shouldn't either. For the money we are putting into the game industry bar the engine the games should be build from the ground up each t...
@Bundi
Slightly over the top with your outburst to be honest. All I was suggesting is that they used the current industry buzz surrounding the post apocalyptic world due to 'the last of us' to give their game some extra exposure. And yet you assume i'm writing everything as if Sony and ND give the nod to everybody in the industry. chill and have a conversation not an explosion of words.
