@limewax that's not going to be true. Devs have been reporting that the wiiU will offer the same graphics as a ps3 but won't be capable as much.
is the generation going to far when we have a virtual interactive girlfriend?
Other than the opening on the beach and the dog behind the fence in the alley, where else?
Never realised there was a second dog in the trailer. Very good video! Can't wait for this game.
I love my fat playstation. The beast with backwards compatability and memory card slots.
I just don't think it will work. A lite version is essentially a demo which we can already download from the psn, live market or already. But even if they was to release these to combat used games, I'm still thinking why would be choose them over a used full version that maybe be a pound or two more.
Just my opinion, but lite should stay as digital and not retail.
Ignorance
Completely agree. It's unacceptable to release a game with such a huge problem, this never used to happen on this scale, but now we have patching, it's deemed acceptable.
I personally don't want a digital only industry, sure it saves money and physical space but I like owning the physical product. I enjoy having te cases and maps that one with them. I think there should always be a choice.
Slightly detoured but I think blu ray triple play has it right. You buy the product and you get a digital copy as well, perfect. This should be encorporated more. If we buy a ps3 game through psn, it should download the and then and we receive the phys...
Looking forward to its UK launch!
Regardless of that, the overall game was not a 9.3 without a doubt. its metascore is an 8.3 and user a 7.3 and i'd side with the last.
The game was far to short, very easy and the story felt done already. The best thing about the game is the move support and the ability for anytime co-op. Fantastic features well executed. In terms of gameplay, the first had it all the way.
Would be so much easier if we could interact with shelves the way you can with a bookshelf. I'm not the greatest at manually putting stuff on them.
It wasn't worth a 9.3, which I am gutted about because I expected good things from this title. But I personally found that after the first one they went down hill. It seemed they focused more on how 'Big' the game could be and how 'big' the monsters are you fight against rather than the actual gameplay quality that made me enjoy the first one so much.
Would be great if they transferred all the games and data from your old HDD to the new one on your new PS3. This is the only thing i'm worried about if my PS3 breaks. Theres far to much stuff to re download and install, especially manual install.
I completely agree. It would never happen. But some of the reasons are awful, such as the pre-order bonuses. There was a time when games never came with these and people still pre ordered and with or without a pre order if a game is big it will sell in its millions regardless. GOTY is also a bad reason. The game is still being brought and if nobody originally brought the game and waited for this, then i'm sure there wouldn't be a GOTY edition period.
how many objectives to you want at once lol?
Not a great read, titles is awful. These couldn't ruin the game industry..... here are the sites reasons...
1) The Hot New Game Will Cost $20 Soon
2) The New Console Isn’t As Good As The Old One
3) Pre-Order Bonuses Aren’t Worth It
4) There Will Be A GOTY
5) Most Games Are Terrible
Really don't see anything here that will ruin the industry except for the last one, but as it states, most, not all and lately we have had...
The original trailer looked really good, was a great concept. Such a shame.
@Bundi
Slightly over the top with your outburst to be honest. All I was suggesting is that they used the current industry buzz surrounding the post apocalyptic world due to 'the last of us' to give their game some extra exposure. And yet you assume i'm writing everything as if Sony and ND give the nod to everybody in the industry. chill and have a conversation not an explosion of words.
@richierich
Hogwash, the tech demo isn't better than anything you've seen on the 360 or ps3 unless you've not been playing many games. Killzone 2 and 3, gears of war, uncharted 2 and 3, skyrim.
The tech demo reminds me of fable and I think the graphics are on par with that.
The tech demo for the Killzone 2 was better. I'm not saying it doesn't look good and the console hasn't come a long way, but I'm saying it'...
